I have always loved The LRB I am a proud Aussie and I traveled to Switzerland to work in a ski resort 1978, I took my cassette of the LRB with me and I handed it over to the owner of the bar and he played it every night and it was a hit. People that came to our Pub started requesting LRB every night, I was so proud. By the way it was Verbia, Great Memorie.

I'm convinced this music influenced Comfortably Numb; especially the violin vs the stratocaster sound from 3:25-:3:33, not to mention the tempo and the angry fade out and the orchestral instrumentation by then guitarist Rick Formosa who was the Micheal Kamen of Australia, even though he only moved there because he was accepted into the band as it was forming when they went to London to find a guitarist. Formosa was living in Canada and had been for years but was born in Rome. Today he speaks with a Canadian accent. Still: this song was written written by Glen Shorrock.

Agree, they were one of the best. Unfortunately there is a faker out there Wayne Nelson who still uses the name of the band and is passing himself off as the songwriter of all these classics. It's disgusting but legal. How the f^&* does that work?

This is the only song I ever heard from LRB but I didn't care for it. Boring. They are probably good musitions but I didn't like the song. Same thing with the Eagles and the HORRIBLE Led Zeplin. Never liked them.

I'm a big fan of this band and don't like this song. It's from their debut and wasn't released as a single. Musical taste is subjective but you need to go and listen to some of their hits before writing them off completely.
