A true blast from the past. A great song from a great band. Their biggest hit was "Lonesome Loser" which is also one of my biographical songs of my life. Love it when seeing "young-uns" enjoying and appreciating songs that we grew up on.

I think this was their biggest hit-it got to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in '78, I don't think "Lonesome Loser" ever hit number one, or number two, even. Good song though.

The most-played Australian song on US radio. One of John Lennon’s favorite songs. LRB are/were obviously huge in Australia with many hits… sadly, the original band lost the rights to their own name in some crazy legal fight. So the LRB that tours today is essentially a cover band, no Aussies. Got yourself a sub!

I do love some LRB…. I am subscribed to Shorrock Birtles Goble Little River Band Founders YT page…… the lead singer here is Glenn Shorrock, and the YT page also features Beeb Birtles and Graeham Goble. Correction: This is the band's original singer - Glenn Shorrock. He was later replaced by another Aussie icon, John Farnham, whose vocal virtuosity caused some dissension among fans who preferred Glenn's calmer vocals. After John left to resurrect his solo career, guitarist Steve Housden gained control of the band which remained in the US with a new line-up and the originals, Glenn, Beeb Birtles and Graeham Goble were unable to use the name or LRB because of court rulings.
