Re the Clinton library, the "inside joke" is that it looks like a house trailer being pushed over the edge of a cliff. Word is that B & H maintain separate penthouse apartments on top floor (from someone who worked there). Most of the supervisory staff are young women, a separate elevator available for "private" visits to Bills penthouse and special State troopers escort these guests to and from. Was inside once while I lived in LR to see the display of the refurbished "Over The Jumps" carousel that was later installed at LR zoo (which is a very sad place). Very sterile and cold environment. AR constantly trying to pass tax to support state parks, one of which is the park around the Library and which gets over 50% of state park funding - a little known fact to ARK residents.

Thanks for sharing your travels. I like your observational point of TV's role with respect to desegregation. TV held those who made promises accountable. All states were segregated, with the exception of any state that did not have diversity to the level where segregation was possible. It is disappointing that some states never desegregated, look at the history of Michigan with respect to desegregation for example. Also, and sadly, many school systems in the US are more segregated today than they were in 1968. Again, thanks.

Greetings from China Robert, we also have an Eiffel Tower replica in Hangzhou. I enjoyed the Clinton's museum visit. The Clinton memorabilia was pretty cool, as that was the first presidential election I participated in. Great throw back to the 90's. Interesting tidbit about you from Cuba. Definitely would like to know more about your life in Cuba before entering the U.S. Either way, thanks for the trip down memory lane.
