Lovely, yes we used to make these but they were printed on, like a pamphlet and you had to figure out which writing had to go upside down, it is always good to see things made again as we forget how to do these thing, thank you.

The idea of a zine....is a mini magazine.....you make ONE, number the pages in order and then unfold it all flat again. Decorate each of the 8 pages, making sure your images are the correct way up, as with the sheet flat, some boxes are upside down. Once you are happy with YOUR zine, it becomes a master copy for you to keep. The idea to share it, is you photocopy your A4 sheet flat, and then just fold and cut each copy, and THEY are what you share. It's like making a page for a newspaper or magazine, setting it all out, putting the work in once, and sharing copies of the original. This is why they are made with A4. Sorry if you knew all that....but anyway, that is how you can easily turn ONE master copy zine, into tons of Christmas cards easily! That's the whole point of a zine. Make one, share copies. So yes, you could easily make these in any theme, and would be perfect for Christmas. You could put your message as a few words or one sentence per page. And then sign the last page for whoever you're sending it to. 😘😘😘

I made these years ago with middle school students and they wrote story plots and such in them. I love how you showed how to mark and punch out the half circles for the pockets. Very clever!
