Lead singer’s voice is far different than the original’s. They might have found a singer with a more similar voice to the original. A real disappointment.

Are you kidding?! Vito Picone was 17 years old when he recorded Little Star in 1958. He is now 82. Do you really think anyone has the same singing (or speaking) voice over 65 years later? Seems like you have lost a lot more than anyone else. 🎶 🎤

The current lead singer is the original. Something happened to him between 1988 and 1999 where his voice completely changed. There’s a video of him singing this song in 1988 where he sounds great, but his voice sounds completely different in this 1999 video.
