I've been playing on backing tracks for almost 15 years, since the dawn of youtube, almost everything I can do with the guitar comes from practicing and expressing myself on the backing tracks. The downside is that after a while you tend to stop learning new things and reiterate what you know how to do, honing your style. This channel is great, seeing in real time the modal scales change is something that for a non-professional guitarist is game changer, in just one week i discovered a lot of new things and methods to use scales and chords. this is something that with a traditional study method involves constant commitment and absolute dedication, something that requires you to dedicate a good part of your life, and not everyone has the opportunity. Just by observing and understanding the scale patterns that change according to the tones, you intuit and absorb new notions (still, you need some basic knowledge to interpret what is happening). I must say that it is one of the best ways to learn the guitar that I have experienced in many years. Immediately joined the monthly subscription, I can't wait to find out what is offered on bandcamp. Thanks for the amazing work you do here. Big salutes!

Yup, this channel has given me at least a clue how to play my favorite songs, as well as some things I thought I would never try, like Zappa and funk…
