This game is such a refreshing experience after all those recent open world games. No crafting, no side quests, no pointless walking through empty map etc. You can just focus on a game without all those distractions and have fun from the very beginning to the end.

I just finished this game this morning. All in all, I liked it. Not gonna be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s a nice, charming little third person shooter, and if anyone is intimidated by the difficulty after hearing “Soulslike” the standard mode is actually quite laid back and easy. Your health regenerates, and you don’t even lose your souls (or whatever the currency is called) upon death.

Actually fun gameplay and honestly nobeta design is very cute. I love how fast the bullet magic shooting is and how smooth the dash and animations are. Very nice game to play for a casual fun time 10/10

I imported the Japanese limited edition last year, and am waiting on my Western LE to come via FedEx today. I honestly had more fun with this game than I had with any other Souls-like game since Bloodborne. Way too many games now are full of bloat, get too big for their britches, and really overstay their welcome, and this game is a breath of fresh air in that regards. It's exactly as long as it needs to be, and the fact that it may leave you wanting more is just a testament to how carefully and lovingly it was crafted. It's a 9.5 for me personally.

Just picked up this game for PS4 today, honestly the combat in this game blows both Forspoken and Hogwarts Legacy out of the water and I’m not even being sarcastic. Those games are over complicated with too many mid combat sub-menus, this is just an awesome action dungeon crawling type of game that you can just pick up and instantly have fun with without being bogged down by an overdone cinematic story and a monotonous open world

I mistook this game for regular action/rpg and now stuck on second boss for hours. Unbeatable shit. I believe, there should be VERY VERY EASY difficulty.

skill issue seriously. this wasn't a game designed to be easy. in my opinion standard mode is already overly easy. all you need to do is to be willing to learn. trial and error is the name of the game. you learn what moves the boss uses and learn how to counter it. mostly by dodge or parry. learn to manage your mana and if need be take a break from challenging the boss and farm some exp to upgrade your stats.

Even if they wanted to no one can emulate the success of Genshin specially in this day and age where everything is decided by shareholders and investors based on ROI. The developers and publishers of Genshin is a privately owned company unlike most corporations today.
