Yea i loved bomb survival but i always had so many ideas to make it better that i started creating my own Levels. Different buildings, secret rooms in the ground, every room filled with tons of small details, destroyable furniture, changing weather in combination with changing gravity, all linked to timers with random Chances for every change to make every Single Match unique. The levels took me several days but damn i had so much fun creating them. When they were ready i always imvited my friends to play them as 4 people coop at my house. Good old times. Lbp3 was completely fucked so many bugs, even bugs which deleted whole Level for no reason i was so upset with the game i stopped playing immidiatly.

When I think about LBP I think about all the summers I spent sitting in front of the TV screen, sweaty PS3 controller in hand, only getting up to eat, use the bathroom, and immediately feeling the rush in your head you get when sitting or laying down for a long time. Back then I was wasting away hours and hours of my time and enjoying ever minute of it. those were the good times :)

I honestly would really enjoy LBP3 if it ACTUALLY WORKED. It almost never lets me joins my friends, crashes more than any other PS4 game I've played, has a large assortment of other weird glitches, etc. It seriously breaks my heart to see my childhood game fade out of popularity, LBP 1 and 2 were MY LIFE a few years ago, I met 2 of my best friends on LBP2 all those years ago, I've recently been revisiting the first two games and they're still surprisingly active. I even miss all the community drama about the toxic wave of copied levels (Mortal Kombat Skateboard Bomb Survival). The community isn't nearly as entertaining nowadays sadly... I know we'll probably never get a 4th game, but I'll never forget the endless fun I had with this franchise.

This game was honestly my life. I got a PS3 bundle with LBP2, played it everyday, with my brother and cousin. It was the best experience of my life at the time, I later got LBP1, was a little bit boring, but still loved it. Then Karting happened, never was really a fan of Karting games, but still enjoyed it no less. LBP3 was SO GOOD, I don’t know why people hated this game, it was amazing!

How I rate the 3 games in my eyes. LBP 1: Classic, happy to go back to. LBP 2: Pure nostalgia, so many good memories :) LBP 3: Besides the bugs, I love this game because of the logic and creation tools. But doesn't have the same charm that Mm had with the previous two. Summary: LBP as a whole is always going to have a special place in my heart, so many great memories and experiences had in all the games (mostly 1 and 2). I would love to see a PC port and revival of the game, and maybe even a 4th game. But sadly I don't think these things will come true :( It's hard for me to accept that this franchise is pretty much dead, and I don't want to give up on these games. Please bring LBP back!!

The chances of it are very slim, but at least Media Molecule is working on a new Ps4 game called Dreams, which from what I’ve seen, is a game where you can make your own level, like LBP. Media Molecule creators of lbp1 & 2 are creating a game called "Dreams" Believe me its way better than lbp; MM left LBP because they couldnt do everything they wanted to do, creating in general was so limited thats were Dreams comes in. you wont regret buying the game. This game was revolutionary. If you had a good a hard life but had this game, it changes so much. I as a kid had a real rough time. Mom was never here, dad died, and I’ve moving to different states with different uncles and aunts. But the funny thing is that some of the best memories are on this game. I remember trying to get everything thing for my sack person lol. Especially one time when my dog stepped on my eye when I was 7 and everyone went to the other room, I then beat the last level of lbp 1 and got the Wellington boots! But that has all changed now and my life is miserable. But deep down I have those memories that change me for who I am. Idk why I am writing this but for all who have never played this, buy the ps3 get lbp 1 and 2 and unlock everything. Do it for the lost memories

LBP2... The memories. Oh lord the memories. I am not being dramatic when I say this, but that game... This MASTERPIECE has made me who I am today. I would've never gotten into computer science without spending literally **THOUSANDS** of hours learning and making contraptions with the logic gates. I wouldn't be so big into level design without this game, I wouldn't have met my best friend, whose 9 anniversary of meeting her for the first time is coming up in just 2 months. It... Just, christ. It was extremely hard to watch this video because I can't go back to these times, no matter how much I want to. I still have my OG LBP2 disc and my PS3, but at one point, I did lose my original save, but I still have memories on there. I refuse to load this game though... Seeing anything about this game just makes me sad. Knowing that a lot of people had no idea of this game, had no idea of its potential, or what it means to myself, and many other sackpeople incarnates. It's so melancholy; bittersweet. I'm just glad I got to be a part of the golden age of it, and I NEVER want to forget this game. LBP3 was trash btw. Also, *BOMB SURVIVAL, FREE STICKERS* Edit: 9, not 10 years, unless I'm somehow a time traveller.

The issue was just like you I spent a lot of money on DLC but after they promised DLC would transfer from LBP2 and LBP3 there was a glitch for some people (including me) where a lot of the DLC wouldn't transfer and I am not about to rebuy everything that I've not only bought but earned after buying in LBP2.

LBP was the ultimate childhood experience for me. Had a long break from Nintendo and got a PS3 during that break. One of those games was LBP. I loved that game, it was the first game that tested my creativity. Tested it to the point where I am now. I didn't do too much with online but I enjoyed it when I did. Personally, I just loved the story, my many attempts to ace every level, lost to The Bunker at least 100 times, but all in all I loved it. I didn't go online much at all as a kid so I didn't know if there was going to be a sequel. And you can bet that I almost wet myself when I saw it in a shop at one point. LBP2 was my ultimate childhood experience x100. The visuals were amazing, the plot was spectacular, how they used Sackbots for the characters instead of mechanisms and how could I forget the many times I tried to impersonate all the characters? And The Negativatron was such an awesome and fitting villain. I understood The Collector and his intentions of stealing all the creativity. But having a giant vacuum cleaner to suck away all the creativity out of Craftworld was just so fitting. And it's not like in LBP where once you move onto the next 3 levels made by another Creator Curator, you don't see the others until you save them near the end. I like how Larry Da Vinci acts like your mentor throughout most of the story. There would always be a familiar face that wasn't yourself. Larry accompanied you through his warehouse, Victoria's bakery, The Factory of a Better Tomorrow and Avalonia. Clive being with you to see Herbert Higgenbotham, Avalon getting kidnapped and you having to rescue him, I loved it. And I made it my personal challenge to ace the boss fights. I heard no activity from this series for quite some time. Less people online, found all the secrets, got many costumes and cool contraptions, then I heard of a new LBP game. My friend already had this and I asked if I can borrow it for a weekend just to see if it's worth buying. My friend, knowing my history with the series, allows it. And I wasn't a fan of it. I like the concept of there being more characters and showed some really cool and unique mechanics and I felt it could've been something I would buy for myself. I don't remember how far I was in until my profile was corrupted. Knowing my younger self, I probably didn't think too much of it and restarted it but then it happened again, alarmingly earlier than it did the previous time. I think I was only a few levels in, took a break to watch something on Netflix for like an hour or two, came back and it was corrupted again. When I gave the game back, I told him about the problems I was have. He didn't think much of it at first but I convinced him to have a look into it once he got home. The next day he confirmed my suspicions. That was the last time I ever played anything to do with LBP. Nowadays, because the series is so nostalgic to me, I listen to the music on a daily basis.

LittleBigPlanet 3 is the reason the franchise is dead. Reasons: 1) It is the glitchiest LBP game out of all the other ones 2) The Profile Corruption bug is out there... 3) The game almost NEVER allows you to join your friends, probably because of a glitch or so. 4) It's not as nostalgic as the first two games. I miss LBP and LBP2. But times have moved on, and so have people, onto LBP3 and they're STILL there, probably leaving the first two almost dead in the community. Who else misses LBP1 and LBP2?

sometimes i just remember the pod music or random songs from lbp2 and feel super nostalgic...here are some levels i remember playing in case anyone remembers them: - crimsonfang9’s horror levels, especially jeff the killer - assassins creed multiplayer and splinter cell - the ransack minigame levels ?? you would play hot potato and if you had no friends there were sack bots lmao - there was a level where you’d have a town and every night zombies would come out, so your friends would stand at a wall and shoot all of them...during the day you’d go mining and sometimes you’d get stuck outside and the zombies would kill you - gamefan2501’s rpg levels!! there was a city with different seasons, college, etc ;;; honestly rpg levels in general were fun, i liked going in super fancy houses or hospitals - the stranded island level where you lived in a treehouse and collected fruit from trees - the work n buy city rpg where you could be a cashier or rob the bank until you had a castle - i was a girl so i’d make costumes in changing room levels and my sackgirl would take selfies in picture rooms 🤐🤐 - SLAP FIGHT LEVELS - the trap your best friend levels where you’d kill your friend in all of these different machines lmfao - i remember playing this level by mightymouse where you were trapped in a dallas hotel and there was a ghost bride ? - THOSE FUCKING “HARD?” LEVELS WITH ANNOYING MUSIC AND THEY WERE COMPLETELY WHITE WITH A BUNCH OF STATIONS I WOULD ALWAYS RAGE QUIT AHHH - mangreek’s levels, you could survive a crashing plane or you were in a lab full of monkeys that would grab you and fly you up to the top of the level - HIDE AND SEEK LEVELS you would hop in paintings and stuff - the fishing frenzy rpg!! i don’t remember it much tbh - those 100 jumps levels that just got impossible near the end - a bunch of horror levels like schoolgirl horror creepy man in the bathroom, cabin in the woods, another night alone, ao oni, slenderman etc i still remember the usernames of my closest friends and i really wonder how they’re doing in life now...i kinda wish i still kept in touch with them so we could play again together now that we’re all in high school. either way i hope you guys enjoy that huge dump of nostalgia :’)

People who played lbp and lbp2 will always have great memories of the game. I know I had the greatest memories on those games (and uh dont worry about the dlc thing, we were all there *cough cough* I've spent over $300 *cough cough*) I remember when I first played lbp and my mind was blown, my whole life was changed because I had the potential to actually do what ever I really wanted in a game, I would spend hours every day making costumes of making worlds and publishing them. When lbp2 came out my heart exploded and I immediately bought the game when it came it, lbp2 is a game i still think about playing now of days because i had so much fun on it (sadly I cant because i lost the disk, but I will probably buy it on the ps store haha) this was the game I actually met all of my online friends at, we grew up together and I even went has far to meet up with them. Thinking about the good memories I had in this game makes me wanna cry, because this game was so amazing, I just wish I could go back to my kid self and play my heart out for one last day.

Finally someone who actually understands me. I've played the lbp franchise since Lbp 1 and soo much has changed for the worst, Lbp 1 is probably the most stable out of all the others, and also Lbp Karting and Lbp for the Ps Vita I guess.

16 layers isnt the only thing LBP3 has now. If you're an actual creator, the create mode is massively superior to any previous installments. Although, everything else about LBP3 is pretty lame.

I’m young, and am on middle school at the moment. I got LBP when I was in 1st grade. The first 2 years of Elementary school I was alone, and had no friends. After playing LBP, I got my hopes up to attempt getting out of my shell and try to make friends. I tried to talk to this girl, and it worked. We became friends in a few weeks, and we would play the game hours together. 4th grade, she was in a different class and we weren’t as close anymore. I finished the story in a month, and loved LBp2 story. It fitted it so well, and began playing it more and more. I started realizing I was gunna be alone again.. As it was like that for the rest of the year. 5th grade, gold year. I started being not so shy as I was. I met 2 girls, as we became super close. 6th grade, 1 girl isn’t as close, but the other is. She showed me the other friend and we 3 were hanging out. It’s been amazing, as in 5th grade, when LBP3 came out, I had it on a PS4 for a birthday gift. I got it, and was hyped. I never had any issues per say, I just felt that the script on the game was rushed. It didn’t match with the goodness of the other ones I played. I finished it, hoping to get that goodness, but boy was I wrong. MM did amazing on the first 2, but the new ones, just dropped it. I play it with my neighbor on community, but I’m still super sad that it ended. I hear Sleepyhead when I’m drawing, and it makes me tear up. LBP was a gift to my lil brother, as I finished the game I was recently playing, and dove into that one. I asked for thousands of PS4 gift cards and used em on Minecraft skins and LBP2 skins. mM, ty for everything. Your time was well while it lasted..

I was 6 years old when little big planet came out. I remember going to my dads on the weekend, us playing the game till our hearts gave out. My dad would even get in on the fun too. We would buy all the dlc and other games from then on. Little big planet 2 was still a game we played quite frequently, but lbp3 was a big disappointment. It sucks to see what happened to it.

Santa gave me lbp 1 and I'm like what? Went upstairs put it in my ps3 and that made a bright future for me!
