I just love watching KZbinrs who are not afraid to talk about our Lord; and that are down to earth people, and Kayla you fit the bill. I struggle too in this wicked world but I pray for God to get us through. Loved your home tour. I think my favorite was the old cabinet on your kitchen table with the Santas and loved the baby shoe garland with the trees. Everyone is doing the neutral theme. I love all Christmas styles, but we are estate sale people and former hair stylists. We have sooo much gifted ( from our clients) and thrifted ( estate sale items) that why would I go out and buy new. I have probably over the years given away decor for five houses and still I have lots. Your house is beautiful and so unique. We have about three to four estate sales in our area every week..it will slow down for Christmas and hubby and I decided that would be our date day rather than eating out. I have Chrustmas in every room and we both love it. Unfortunately, we have not seen a lot of vintage Christmas that is really old. I make dried orange slices for my trees ..put in front of a light and it looks like stained glass. I make cinnamon and applesauce ornaments and they make the house smell wonderful. I bet ninety five percent of everything in our house is thrifted. Some of my friends ask why I go to the trouble of doing all of the decorating when you have to put it up around Jan 12th. We are Catholic. I say everyone does so much for birthdays why would you not want to go to the extra trouble of getting your home and your heart ready for the most important Person, our dear Saviour Jesus. Have a wonderful Christmas...really enjoyed the tour.

I have the same Santa that you have sitting beside your framed print over the fireplace. I received mine in 1960 from the 1st National Bank when my mother opened a savings account for me and it is actually a piggy bank. It was the beginning of my Santa collection. I still have it though it does have a chip in it.
