Totally LOVE this one! So pretty and whimsical. I love the idea of adding the keepsakes instead of spending so much time making them! Couple questions... how are you able to keep lint from sticking to your light colored paste? I am always finding lint in mine- even when I am washing my hands! Are there any tips or tricks or is it a matter of just really clean hands and surface?! Anyways, I have been in a bit of a decorating rut! Just not feeling like making ANYTHING. But after watching this I think it rejuvenated me :) ! Love you Tracey! Thanks for all the tutorials.

Thank you! Aww it's always there! No matter how clean your hands are, or how clean your surface, it always finds a way! Some people have a spare little ball of sugar paste they use to wipe over the worktop to make sure it catches any spare bits - so it sticks to that instead of your work, but I always have to pull the odd tiny bit out with a scalpel! xx

You didn’t use a center dowel? Does the chocolate ganache hold both tiers together well enough for transport? I only ask because sometimes when I put in a center dowel after the cakes are decorated and assembled, they shift.

No I use only centre dowels for very tall tiers or carved shapes. I stick 4 tiers together with ganache and they hold up pretty well :D That's if you use ganache to decorate with though underneath the sugar paste - buttercream isn't as stable x
