Hi, I have been going through your vlogs one by one. Being an Asian born overseas, your vlogs bring me endless pleasure and also a sense of regret of not knowing what my heritage is. I had a business in Shenzhen about 10 years ago and only concentrated on working and did not take the time to visit all these wonderful places that you have showcased. Please never stop filming your vlogs for I am sure they bring a lot of viewing pleasure to many people. And perhaps one day I will visit China again, not for business but as a full time tourist. Tofu is well known among the Chinese ethnic groups of people and every groups has their expertise in cooking tofu eg. Hakka Tofu. Hokkian Tofu, Teochew tofu and others. Yes, making good tofu depends solely on natural water source without that it is not possible to make it. In this video Yan has taken us to the remote rural areas where they have ample underground water source through wells collections. soybeans are the main ingredient source of making tofu , from the process it will have various downstream products produced eg. soya bean drinks, tofu skin, Tofu has many forms, from puffy tofu, silken, soft, firm etc. This video entails just a little about the Tofu. Actual process of making involved quite a lengthy durations which is not possible to show in video. Anyway at least Yan showed us the village that is known for making Tofu in China. Good work Yan.....!

Yan, another wonderful video on rural country, thumbs up. A great contrast to my own place, my primary residence is a low rise house, in a layback part of a city, but my secondary residence just in the CBD, and on Level 44. But, I miss most the four chamber house in my home village back in Chaochou, China where I only spent not more than 5 years of my childhood. People in Laos and Thailand always refer ourselves to Tang Ren, and the old folks in my home village told us that our forefathers came all the way from Henan Province, China. But, really I believe we are more local, at least an aborigine not less than the Miao and Yi. I love all the peoples around me, particularly their foods and cultures.
