Yeah same I’ve seen it way too much lately running about a 50/50 on it it gets so tricky if you let them set up dialga fully very tough match up for most decks rn

Relicanth is so good for the deck since it makes Archaludon an absolute beat stick unless your opponent can consistently do 300 damage a turn. I have a kinda greedy build with a 1-1 line of both Starmie and Dialga, been liking that as well.

I get why Dialga is super great in this deck, but post rotation... I have been playing with 1 heatran instead, great for pikachu decks for sure haha .... hits my heatran and then I can 1 shot it. Archie boy is a super fun pokemon to build around and fun to play! Dialga plays are sick, thanks for the video!! I have been struggling with archie and dialga, so this helped!!

The thing is this deck was played in the context of the next meta, with budew, and although it doesn't use budew nor it's hardly affected by the card. The card by itself shifts the meta away from zard and regidrago which are pretty bad matchups for archaludon ex( especially zard)

The times I've played against Archaludon and Dialga with Dialga Metang I ended up winning every time. I think a pure Archaludon would be a harder match-up.

i must say, a deck designed for tournaments seems different form a deck designed for playing online at Pokémon Trading Card Game Live. For one thing, a Archaludon ex deck designed for playing online is very likely to play 4 Canceling Cologne 🤣

@@gnilflah2279 Maybe we have many newer players now, but i feel many decks online try to stall with Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon ex or Mimikyu at the start, while they struggle to get their main deck strategy going. It is not really a bad idea, but with Canceling Cologne and Cursed Blast everywhere, it sometimes fails 😅

I opt for a 2 - 1 scyther scizor punishing scissors line and a 2 - 1 Staryu Starmie line alongside a Zamanzenta. Star Chronos is strong but too many 2 prize liabilities for my liking.
