Hi, I’ve been following your KZbin channel for about 2 months. You gave me great ideas on how to organize my own deck. Even though I’m new to the game, I think I’m learning quickly and improving. Lately, everyone has been playing with Regidrago and Dragapult decks, so could you make a video on how to play against them? If I can build a deck that counters just these two, I believe I could win 6 or 7 out of 10 matches, since almost everyone is using the same decks.

Pocket format is much better than this format. It's not broken and there's no decks that are too broken such as Charizard dusknoir or Gardevoir

@@derekjeter3654 Sorry my guy but that is skill issue there is a reason Charizard hasn't won any tournaments lately and Gardevoir it was a surprise it won in baltimore. There are even more decks that you might call broken but it is just how you play it. So Pocket format is the easy and noob-friendly version of real Pokemon battling, PTCGL is for people who can think and can outplay their opponents even with the worst decks

You need the normal types for the trumpet and quack and owl are two squishy and easily wiped out. Plus hoopa fighting type so you can't patch or trumpet to it and attach from hand is too slow you'll get blasted to pieces by a turn two dragaput or or bellowing thunder for 400 billion damage

Tool doesn’t really help at all. Can’t ohko Lugia, Pult, or Drago, and it needs the wasteland stadium plus stone against Bolt and Terapagos for ohko. The damage output is just way too low.

Venusaur needs to be in the active to heal 60 damage and it's bulky with a retreat cost of 4. I don't think it's worth it. Venusaur also needs a lot of energy to attack.

@@mohammadadnan7319 hydrapple exccels energy to any pokemon and also heals 60 without needing to be in the active. Both its retreat cost and attack cost are covered. But you wouldn't want to retreat venu anyway. Keep it in the active to apply status conditions to opponent

Too many tech cards when all you need is Pokémon and energy cards. Also. Why would you not use Jenaine?? You don't want to accelerate two dark energies per turn? You rather squawk? You rather radiant Greninja? For what lol. You just need energy, Pokémon, dark patch and Jenaine.

Squawk lets you see more cards, Janine's doesn't do as much as you think it does. Two energy? Research and Iono let you see several more cards, like dark patch and trumpet that let you put several more energy into play. Greninja gets energy into the discard pile so you can patch and trumpet them back. Research also gets items into your pile so you can use vstar to bring them back. This is way more optimal than Janine.
