have had a bit of a dovet day, and curling up with the last two of these making vlogs, which I hadn't watched yet, and some knitting has been a bright spot in an otherwise very ordinary day. I loved seeing the hexagons appear, the colours are lovely and it is interesting to see how long it takes to make them and how many you can get out of a mini. I am glad you have been enjoying your ballet exercise class, it sounds lots of fun and I look forward to hearing more about it.

Thank you for these making vlogs ~ it’s always a pleasure to see your face pop up in bonus content 😂 Have really enjoyed them. As a keen ‘would be’ knitter who can crochet, I would love to see a tutorial by you! I have zero confidence in knitting so continental style might just be the thing, and you are a brilliant teacher! And DPNs ~ crikey ~ they just look so complicated to me as a non knitter, but I am determined to make a pair of socks at some point!!! Anyway, thanks again, glad you enjoy making these vlogs as much as we enjoy watching them (reckon we get the better deal tho 😂) will look forward to more in the future! Have a lovely weekend 😊

Hi Ali I've enjoyed your week of daily vlogs and yes, I would love you to do more at some point in the near future if possible. Thankyou for answering my question and well done on raising so much for the charity, that's really great! The hexegons are lovely and I'm looking forward to when they are all put together. Take care and see you soon. Oh yes I nearly forgot, I found a wonderful yarn shop today on a day out. So many beautiful yarns in it I didn't want to leave but with hubby waiting outside, I sadly had to. But I didn't leave without buying something and asking for a phone number😂happy needlework!

Ballet is so good for fitness and core. It can help with joints and balance. There's the Silver Swans programme by the Royal Academy of Dance, it's designed for older ladies, they put out online classes every week during lockdown which I joined in and loved. Some yoga breathing techniques are great for stress relief. I've started to knit a pair of socks as a beginner to knitting socks. I've paused it as I want to complete my outstanding projects. I usually do blankets and preemie hats for my local NICU centre at the hospital. I've tried having different projects embroidery and knitting on the go at once but I've found for me I wasn't completing anything. I've gone back to finishing my projects as I find that works better for me. I go to my local knit and natter group and I've found that has given me some confidence as well as a social event. I would love to learn to crochet but it's a mystery. Good luck to your daughters with their end of school and college work.❤

Hi Ali, I love whatever vlogs you come up with so if you make them I'm sure I'm not alone in saying we'll watch and enjoy them. The only sock knitting method I couldn't get my head around was DPNs, I even bought some and have tried and tried without success. I would love to learn how to use 4 dpns because 5 just kept stabbing me! I also can't get to grips with how to hold the needles properly so I can knit without them getting in my way. Does the next needle sit under or over the working needle.. little things that seem to be glossed over in the tutorials I've tried to follow. If you did a tutorial on this I'd be front and centre watching to see if I can break this camels back! I've been using 2 x 60cm 2.5mm circs as my choice...but its double the cost to use 2 needles for one sock lol... I have lots of empty dpns... 😅😊
