Littlehampton Public Slipway in West Sussex

Welcome back to another episode on where to launch your boat. Todays video is all about the Littlehampton public slipway which is located directly in front of the RNLI and leads you straight into the River Arun.
The slipway does not have a launch fee but does require you to pay the harbour dues which can be found here:

As always please launch at a state of tide you feel comfortable with, you do not want to get stuck in the mud. They advise 2 hours before and after high, you can find the tide times below:

This video is not "how to launch your boat" is it only showing you locations to launch your boat or kayak or sib, or whatever you would like. Hopefully it gives you more of an insight on what to expect before you travel down.

I have provided the harbour dues payment page and the tide times in the description. Also I mentioned this is the River Adur, however it's the River Arun, I was thinking about Shoreham 😆

Helpful video. 1. This slipway is on the River ARUN not Adur as stated in the narration. 2. There is now a new and better road link to A259 using the Fitzalan Road Extension.

@@SouthysFishing I’m a new boat owner in Sevenoaks, Kent and unfortunately Kent itself has very few slips so I’m researching as many as I can find in West Sussex and down into Hampshire 👍🏼

@@chrisburr7929 congratulations on your new boat! Yea down our way I would say the best one is Littlehampton. Newhaven is crap and Shoreham is very small.

The parking isn't amazing for trailers, but I have seen a few people park with them there.
