Great tip, and easy to follow. I love the hive mind that is the yarny community on KZbin. It's because of this community I learned how to crochet in the first place. Thanks to all the skilled and patient teachers out there.

Can you explain how to do it on a single crochet stitch?
@theducklinghomesteadandgar663917 күн бұрын
@@carloscampbellgiron7649 Just guessing here, but likely almost everything done here mines the chain one after the sc on the first st after the join, and then just using a sc instead of a dc. I hope that works for you!!!❤

great teachings. for the tail, before I finish the last DC, I do the first pull through 2, pull the tail tight, lay tail between next pull though 2 and finish that stitch. tail is then on working row, work over tail 2 st., do a sc with just tail in next st. it will look like a overhand knot, Keep working over tail. I do 2 times as I hide the tail, my tails are 4" or so..

How do I incorporate a color change with this method?
@1AngelEyes9124 күн бұрын
I generally change the new color at it beings on the next row, just flow a normal change of color, meaning you will use the add color on the last faux loop. If this is too hard to incorporate I would suggest ending the row completely with a hidden stitch and restart the next color as you would normally, opting to change the starting location. Using the needle to bind the last stitch with the “invisible loop/ invisible ss (slip stitch/ invisible ending” [lol there is so many names it goes by] and weaving or hiding the tail as you. Although I am sure there are other ways you could do this, these 2 steps are what works for me, I hope they can help you as well. 🙏🌻

So do you stay with one dc in one st and then 2 dc the next st for the rest of the pattern?
@HoneySummers-o3sАй бұрын
I'm still confused, so sorry 😢It looks so nice. Si you're saying the one single crochet plus chain does count as the first double crochet, did I hear that right? And by the end where the magic happens, we do not connect to the chain 1 but to (basically) the second stitch - which would be the first _real_ double crochet we did? Did I get this right? ❤

What does the back of the work look like? Can you see join and does the join location shift left every round?

Looks amazing. I have to try this! Do you have tips on invisible joins for other stitches like sc, ext sc, hdc, etc? Thank you!

Here is another video I have for the invisible join. It’s very similar for this one, but it works with any stitch. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJ3FipWvn9VqbtUsi=YjJdfBarIK_Bfy_P
