Both seasons are (again, mostly) temporary mass character deaths, but still. Getting resurrected via children's card games doesn't mean you didn't still die from children's card games in the first place.

I'll be honest, I feel like Camula was them testing the waters with an expanded villain and their backstory instead of the standard villain of the week kind of deal that the other episodes had had. But because they were still doing it in Villain of the Week style, she still gets the shaft at the end of the day. Which is a shame, because she was interesting, but if she was how they decided to move forward with other villains in GX, I'm fine with it.

To be fair, Season One of Yu-Gi-Oh! showed that the graveyard was a scary place where the 'Reaper of the Cards' chases you down. Season 4 had the spirits of Duel Monsters be enhanced to be fully sentient and aware of the game. Many monsters were sent to be consumed by the Great Leviathan as well. In GX, the sentient cards are mostly part of alternate dimensions.

Even though I really don't like VTuber-avatars in general, this one works really well. The only thing I miss is more facial expressions for certain moments (Bastion gasming, dry faces during intense sarcasm, etc.), although the wink around 16:20-ish was 10/10. My favorite Werewolf in Yugioh is “LYCANTHROPE” it’s a ritual monster and it’s not just really cool looking, but it has some flavorful depth when you see the ritual spell and its own design when you notice the device and wires at its heart indicating that either this is a human being controlled, or the human can control its transformation. Its was the only effect monster I added to my 'Normal' deck (I made a deck back in the day with only normal monsters since I noticed alot of spell/traps that target them) since it's effect is that it does more damage based on how many Normal monster are in the grave.

So glad to finally get to this episode! I was holding off on watching the last two cause I don't like to go only part way through these multi-episode segments. Also, having Martin as an animated LK is just about perfect. I think Yami doing the episodes would've been okay, but this is better, especially when he does his Pharaoh the Cat bits, cause they don't land nearly as well when he's already doing the Yami voice before "Prraaa!"-ing. Really hope now that we've got a more ideal solution to the recording issue that these GX reviews come faster, I really enjoy them!
