I’m here after 4 years and quite the eventful 4 years if I’m being honest. I knew this girl who showed me this song four years ago and it was our favourite song. We would listen to it really loud in her basement together and my entire childhood experience with her was the best part of my childhood. She actually mildes me into who I am today and whenever I’m down I think of her and the happiness she gave me before my life went downhill. From the day I met her to this very day, we clicked instantly. The smell of her and her house is a smell I will forever treasure and my heart lights up whenever I smell something similar. It’s a smell connected to happiness and laughter. It’s a smell that reverts me back to the feeling of true peace and tranquillity. I don’t think she remembers me in the same way but I sure do and I cherish the time I spent with her deeply. She was there when nobody else was and when I hear this song I can’t help but get chills down my spine. Her red hair gleams in the sun and her laughter is honestly one of my favourite things. She was one of the only things in this world that made me truly happy and made me forget about anything else. If you’re reading this, I fucking love you. You’ve changed my childhood in ways I could never imagine and made me who I am today and I am so thankful for that. Despite being in pain you still make everyone around you laugh. You’re so important and special to me. You’re one of the only good memories I have left. Take care and remember I’m always here for you like you were there for me. ❤️
