Mike Howe is the first lead singer I ever listened to with Metal Church back in 1989 at barely 10 years old. I instantly loved Badlands when I first listened to it, and became a fan of Metal Church ever since. It is hard for bands to have one legendary lead singer in their career, but Metal Church had two David Wayne and Mike Howe. Rest In Peace Mike Howe and thank you for all the music. It really did help growing up be much easier. Great interview!!

Elliott! Great interview dude! It's great to get a kids perspective of bands sometimes! However, I'm very glad that you picked Mike Howe to interview! First off...Mike is an incredible vocalist who's been around a while, but, more importantly, he's a great human being! I met him twice, and both times he was super cool, and very humble! He appreciates every opportunity that he's been given! As a Metal Church fan from the very beginning, I especially love the Metal Church albums with Mike on vocals! I really like the new stuff from Metal Church, but I also love Blessing In Disguise, The Human Factor, and Hanging In The Balance!! All 3 are killer albums, but so are the new stuff! I LOVE Metal Church, and they are one of my top 5 metal bands of all time!! They kill it on stage...no question!! Little dude...Thanks for interviewing Mike!! I look forward to your next interview! Another vocalist that you should interview...Mark Tornillo of the German metal band Accept!! I met him twice, and he was super cool both times! I'm 99 percent sure that he would say yes!! If you love metal, which you obviously do Elliott, listen to Blood Of The Nations, the first album Mark did with Accept! OMG!! He crushes it on vocals!!

Met Mike And the rest of the band in the parking lot at the Chance theater in Poughkeepsie NY in 89. They were all very cool people to talk to no ego's at all. Mike will be missed he and David to me are the only MC singers .
