Okay, so first of all, I think this was the first mention we've had of hybrid Lycanbeasts. I never thought of it, but if the parents are different species it makes total sense. Plus the traditionalists would absolutely look down on "impurity" cross pairings like that. (Just look at Zelda's friends and family.) Also, hold up! Life mate!? I could be off the mark here, and maybe Lee is just better than most at hiding her reaction, but it's also possible that whatever gave her the scar that damaged her voice also messed up her gland? So the listener can smell her, but she can't smell them, maybe? Just a theory. Anyway, this was awesome to listen to. Thanks for the audio, Ragdoll!
