I am so lucky that I came across you, since my mum (55 yrs old) passed away a couple of years ago, I have had really bad anxiety and I find your videos calming and you remind me of my mum. My mum too was a whizz in the kitchen like you and taught me everything, now am teaching my daughter and son. So thank you so much , loads of love from the UK

Hubby watched and saw the brownies immediately he said get that recipe! lol You have a wonderful daughter with the right attitude she reminds me of our daughter. Our motto at home and hers is family helps family. We help each other with no questions asked. I dont believe in pantry challenges. My working pantry is used daily. I keep a list and when I see a sale on items, I am right there to scoop it up. You cook and clean like I do. You are very grateful and humble person. Thank you for all your videos and chit chats.

I love how you start everyday thinking and planning what you can do for someone. You spend your money, you spend your time and energy doing for your friends and family. Then cleaning the mess up, just to realize that your husband and you need supper too. No doubt you cook different suppers on any given day. You can’t out give GOD, he provides you with resources to be able to continue to bless others. You are inspiring, thank you.

The towel drapes worked beautifully, thank you, it made a big difference. You did not sound at all mean when you said why you don't do the pantry challenge. You merely stated why you don't do it. What you said makes sense for your lifestyle, and it appears you're very successful doing it your way. Everyone should do what works for them. I think you present a different option for people, so it's good that you mentioned it. I loved the interaction between you and your lovely daughter, as always, but this time was especially sweet. And thanks for including the recipes. When you said your brownies melt in your mouth, I knew I had to try them!

I agree wholeheartedly with you about these pantry challenges. I find it strange that they aren’t using the food from them continuously to start with and restocking as needed. I always thought that was the whole purpose. Not to be without. I don’t know why they would want to deplete it completely then have to try to refill it again. I’m glad I found your channel just down to earth and real not a bunch of put on for show. Keep up the great work. May God bless you and your family.

I have a working pantry too, but I do have a sister in law that sticks her pantry so full than a lot of her stuff goes bad. I have a large pantry and cook all the time so I am pay attention to what I need to use up and what I need to replenish. I don’t like to buy a lot of junk food or processed food so cooking from scratch when you plan out your meals is the best way for a budget. I’m learning so many things to help have easy meals in the freezer. Thank you for this❤😊

Use a screwdriver to poke a hole in the bottom of the bean cans and they will pop right out. That works with cream soups, cheese sauces, tomato paste, etc. I learned that decades ago and it never fails. Sometimes you can just use a can opener to punch a hole...love it!!!! I do wonder how you cook with such a big pan on such a small burner. :) "Ebels"...a word/name from my history. It's nice to meet your daughter.

And it seems like we as a society have forgotten how to help one another and stay close and loving as a family. It used to be the norm, families lived within ten miles of each other and were constantly doing things together and for each other, it’s kind of sad we don’t have that lifestyle anymore. I love hearing and seeing families like yours and Renea’s that still do that, it is the best way to live in my opinion. 😊

Love the drapes, I would have done the same. I don’t have curtains in my kitchen either because I want the natural light and I also look out the window when doing dishes and other monotonous stuff. The other reason I don’t is they trap grease, dust, and odor so they’re kind of a hassle in the kitchen. 😊

Hi Renea-enjoyed our visit today. I also use a cottage cheese mixture in my lasagna because I really am not a fan of ricotta cheese (unless it is in a cannoli LOL)! Hi from Germany!!! Found your site by happy accident ! Lasagna - Burritos AND Brownies the yummy trifecta !!!!! And I could tell you are from the Midwest just by how you measured things like my granny did. I made the brownies for my colleagues-- the Americans were in heaven and the other x-pat teachers begged for the recipe!!! The lasagna recipe I’ve made with zucchini or eggplant or spinach (or a combo if I’m short on something ). Burritos- made these with Nuremberg sausage (like a breakfast sausage here in Germany), some hash browns from last night - scrambled eggs, and cheese (any kind) and BAM- breakfast burritos. And yes they are freezable !!! Family takes care of family!! They time I spent with you was like being back home 😅❤❤.
