Major reason to choose miasma over imp. The imp takes friendly fire, if you run corrupted warband your thralls will kill the imp before it can do anything. Curse, miasma, bubble is currently what id run on him. And the curse isnt doing its dot damage yet.

I just watched the videos for both followers, and the quests seem nice additions - nice story and voice acting for both... :) However, the idiot at Funcom coming up with insane wait times deserves a kick in the butt - there was some 24 hour BS with the Jhebbal Sag hunts, and now these 8 hour timeouts for absolutely no reason... They say they want players to be engaged and then they do this - like if they want players to actually play the game while waiting, make those times 1 hour max or tie it to the in-game day-night cycle...

Since Funcom's updates are lacking actual content, I have been playing with mods for a long time now... for some reason, the AoC devs decided to do a big update now - that being not finished yet and the major bugs by Funcom, I haven't even started the game since the update...

When doing the Freya quest in single player I found that if you exit the game between quest elements, the 8 hour delay will have expired when you reenter the game.

Hey Wak 😁 so I got to the second phase of the quest, and heard Blue Liu speak to me after giving the ingredients to Red Liu but he didn’t pop up anywhere. I left and came back, he wasn’t there. I logged out and came back, and his voice stopped. Did I screw up?

I just got to the part where I have to pick up the pages and interact with the book but it's not working. It's says I found a page but it doesn't go into my inventory? And I can't interact with the item to choose the stasis perk? Any help would be appreciated. Im on xbox btw.

12:20 while i don't use sorcery per-say I did spec some corruption into my attributes under Authority, for "Frenzy" that put's my followers in a "frenzied state" when i attack anything. So I always have a small amount of corruption all the time that I can't get rid of. While I don't carry around the Arcane Staff but I do use Transportory Stones (teleporters) often. So would any of that count as "using sorcery" when it comes to Lui Fei's missions?

@@wak4863 Just tried this in Beta...summoned him on day 3 with admin command...couldn't find him so started new playthrough...Now the admin command for day 3 doesn't work. He doesn't "talk" to me. Any ideas? (Spawn point is as close to his cage plant as I can build)

Why does Liu Fei's voice sound sooo familiar? Is he voiced by Paul Nakauchi? Paul Nakauchi is the VO actor for Hanzo in Overwatch. I checked IMDB and Paul's name isn't there, nor is the character of Liu Fei is listed yet either. Probably because this isn't technically out yet publicly.. but that's never stopped people listing cast/VO actors in a movie before it was released before.... so who knows?

Does Liu Fei teach you sorcery if you haven't already learned it? His dialog implied that he would but you didn't mention it in the video. Also what is up with the Yogtha/Yothga spelling and pronunciation and subtitle switches?

He does not, He points you in the direction of learning Sorcery that is all. I don't remember hearing him mispronounce it but the spelling is wrong on occasion. it's not the only Typo in the dialogue captions.

His quest requires you to learn it, it would be amazing if he taught you a spell or two. Remember, he is loyal to the Jade emperor, not you. You are a tool for his curiosity.

Just lost hundreds of fighter thralls, most were leveled, and their gear after they reset the decay timer. AGAIN. So if I get Liu Fei I'm I just going to lose it??? What do I do to stop this from happening? How can I get my thralls back maybe? HELP!!!

It's only thralls. Don't get to attached to your pixels

It means you didn't log in . On the 2nd it went back to normal decay times and it would have been set to max time. You didn't log in and so it decayed. Your thralls should actually still be there hanging in the air maybe. If your on single player welp that's your fault for having decay on

@@steezwts9093 No thats not it. I reset my bases regularly. The bases and benches are there all my fighter thralls are dead I checked the log. Its happened before.

@@jonneerotten7605 You have to log in 2 days before the decay timer switch. Several people on my server admitted only logging on 3 or more days before it resets changed and those same people lost their thralls.

Liu Fei and Freya are being portrayed as heroes. Also, Funcom seems to be keeping up with the pendulum of society (from decadence to barbarism, return to decadence and begin again (sorcery->war->heroes)).

@@varietynoob Yeah kind of shocked me to see no one complaining about that either. My guess is it was done to keep the traffic down so one person or group can't monopolize the new companions especially on pvp servers. Still 8 hours is insane and brutal in my opinion and it looks like you have more than one period of 8 hours to wait for each companion. I could have seen 1 or 2 hours of wait as reasonable. We'll see if there's no push back then that's the wait time if enough people pointed out it's ridiculous then maybe they change it. Who knows?

The age of heroes is terrible. Thralls suck and so does this guy his hp is abysmal and not worth the time. The bench thrall is broken and so bad I am currently not even playing. Total failure.

The time I can do these quests I already have 2 Berserkers with epic weapons and looted epic armor and game ist won. So what is this good for. Another parasitic feature which adds nothing of importance to the game.
