Very good video, Mr. Lui - it was exactly what I need to get me over the block I was having. Thank you Dave

In Artcam there are some post processors named with "(x->A)" or "(y->A)" you can use that post to generate the g code tool path.

I'm good, thanks, Mr Baldocchi. C++ is one way - sounds like you're comfortable programming in it. I'm lazier than that, though ;-) - the g-code that Artcam writes is just a text file, so I've just been using "Find & Replace" in Notepad before bringing it into Mach3. Cheers Dave

Hey Mr. Baldocchi. I don't know how to make the software write A axis data yet, so I'm just using a text editor to do a search and replace of all "G1 Y" to "G1 A" (and any other variation of "Y" statements.)

Hello, Thanks for the video, and how if I already have a 3D model, with unsymetrical design?
@LIUXIN6 жыл бұрын
so you'd better use a CAM software which can handle 4 axis work. Powermill or NX

I have 4 axis and the DSP Model B58. How can I make it, Please
@LIUXIN5 жыл бұрын
artcam can only deal with 3 axis. you need other software for 4 or more axis. such as powermill, NX, Fusion 360, etc

Hi Liu, I have one gear that I did in autocad in 3d and I would like to make the toolpath in Artcam to machine it in my 3020 CNC. Please help me with that. Tell me your email that I send it to you. Thank you very much. Is it possible to load the 3d autocad drawings to artcam directly?
