I'm just saying. Phil Hellmuth has literally played millions and millions and possibly MILLIONS of poker hands in his life. How can he still be surprised about anything that happens in a hand and talk about being unfair... And apparently us "public" have no idea how to comprehend Liv turning a set against Aces.

So great when Phil tries to blame the viewers for not understanding the genius behind the awful check on the flop
@MrGrog907 жыл бұрын
I totally like Phil's flop check. With AA on a KJTr board, there is not a lot of reason to bet. Since both players are deep, Liv can reasonably have JJ or TT, JTs, AQs. There is also no reason for him to believe he will get 2 or even 3 streets from a one pair hand. Therefore, the only thing a check does is protect his hand, which is normally not a good reason to bet, especially with overpairs on relatively static boards
@Sethbowman37 жыл бұрын
MrGrog90 standard check really betting is fine too
@MrGrog907 жыл бұрын
I agree that betting is fine but IP, a bet is much more reasonable. OOP, turns will be very tough to play after a cbet/call/check line. Betting turn also seems bad since you overrepresent your hand a lot on that point (as phil).

@bhardwajr013 жыл бұрын
So if she has a lot of KJ , QJ and KT in her range, you have got zero fold equity against her. Clearly no reasons to lead out for protection. Moreover by checking he removes a lot of king x cards from his range so that live can start value betting her weaker pairs
