Anyone know why the loser rarely shows cards? If someone wins the hand they show. The loser usually just mucks their hand Wouldn’t the player who won want to know what the person had so they can start getting s feel for what the person who lost does I’m certain situations ?

How tf do these poker pros make some of the plays they make First hand dude has a significant chip lead and goes in with 9 4 offsuit? I know he wants to get Phil out but really. Can’t even wait for a face card?

@Icewarrior1014 жыл бұрын
He just tries to imply that's still the smart one when he plays so dumb.. K9 suited isn't a weak hand in heads up play. But his hand of 6 4 offsuit is? lol..
@longdong39724 жыл бұрын
17:40 Phil says I knew you were light. This guy just can never admit he’s wrong, acting like K 9 suited is a weak hand heads up. It’s a really nice strong hand heads up, so wtf he talking about
@thatguythatdoesstuff74482 жыл бұрын
The even more hilarious aspect of this is he's talking like that with 6-4 off. What was he going to do? Go crazy betting pre-flop and then pray?

@AnonyMous-og3ct5 жыл бұрын
I've seen him make his share of sick laydowns and hero calls on the river, although I've also seen him make some really spewy hero calls there as well. :-D He seems more spewy though on earlier streets (especially when he's tilting) like it seems rather frequent for him to stack off with just TP on the turn or even middle pair on the flop when his opponent has a monster. I kept thinking with this match that Tonkaaaa could have extracted more value from Phil when he flopped or turned a really strong hand by just raising Phil instead of smooth calling since Phil tends to plays fit-or-fold on the river to large bets (either as a result of "hand reading skills" or just being a nit on 5th street).

And yes I have been watching him for 15 years and I do love a helmuth blow up

Rants, nags, steam, and tilts aside. Phil truly is one of the greatest poker players of all time. And honestly I'll take his rents about losing over listening to DNegs talk shit about his winnings. I was Dan's biggest fan from shit 2002 to shoot 2015 and then he just went into the toilet. As much as I love his hand reading ability, his ego has completely ruined his personality for me. His arrogance is vomit inducing for me.

wow, no bashing but both didnt play very well but helmuth, holy shit he plays bad here. specially bets and raises where he should have checked or called. but also preflop hand selection out of postion. never folds to a raise. he clearly has no plan or strategy for this match, didnt see his other ones tough. looks like he is just putting hte chips in and try to guess right on later streets without any balance whatsoever..
