平成28年10月10日に宮城県内で14番目の市として誕生してから8周年目を迎えた事を祝い、とみやにちなんで1038発の花火が打ち上げられます。
花火の打ち上げは19時開始を予定していますが、ライブ配信の開始は18時45分頃を予定しています。
