If there's no guidebook for the area then perhaps you can write an eBook on it. Just keep a daily log, such as the best places to snorkel. The gold mining was interesting, the machines looked homemade. At the open market, that farmer's market, you may want to be sure the family farm is located up wind from the gold processing site. A gold mine on a small island sounds very unusual. I would think a crystal mine more likely. Maybe during one of your walks you'll discover a valuable emerald laying in a creek, and then track it to its source, and become exceedingly rich. 🤗

Im updating sailing websites and sharing the good spots for sure! Im thinking we should have our exposure levels checked once we leave Indo. My guess is there is no way of escaping it at the moment, wouldnt mind a emerald or other crystal at all 😉

Nope. We dont have any spearfishing gear onboard. We also dont fish on anchor or mooring where we have local fisher men or a village close by, which is the case most of the time.
