This channel is really good because of the variety of boats presented. Keep going on finding and showing really different boat styles and price ranges.

Thank you very much couldn’t have said it better myself lol. I’ve been back-and-forth on whether I should just focus on trawlers, but I like to keep it interesting so hopefully the views keep coming and I can do all shapes and sizes.

That wood cover on a gas stove - comedy genius! What could go wrong? Thanks for taking us to see the boat....It won't sell at that price but interesting to see.😁

People tend to put the wood cover down after the stove has been turned off

Once again this is one of those "every time Bryan posts a new boat it's now my new favorite boat of them all" things. Such a massively cool interior with all that elegant wood. Just enough space actually, right? I like it a lot. But... $25K???? Yikes dude. Needs $20,000 minimum. Then in today's market it will be worth about $25K. Sooooo... $5,000 to $10,000 as is TOPS.

Hey Bryan... How did this particular boat fare in Hurricane Milton? Did it survive??? Really curious about this one. TIA

Yes it did this was filmed between the 2 canes. Might have a little more H2O in that aft cabin though. Hopefully someone is looking after it.

Nice boat but way to expense. Looks like it may have osmosis in hull which will cost in time and money too repair. Good boat for a DIY if it can be bought at the right price.
@wahid-lg1kk16 күн бұрын
That's not expensive for that boat. That boat can do the roaring forties and shrug it off. That's the normal price when in that condition. Perfect condition will be in the $40k region.

As a expernced boat owner, all I see is issues, wasted effort and a whole lot of money.

I'm interested in what issues you see in this boat. I'd appreciate your opinion if you could please. TIA
@montanadan25243 ай бұрын
@@LiberaceProtege The boat appears to have received no regular maintence for a while and you should expect problems everywhere and with everything. This maybe ok if you plan to have it relocated to your home and you bring it back as time and income allow, figure 2x the listed price and who knows how many years. At the end of the day you have a small boat with a stateroom separated from the living area - a deal breaker for me.
@LiberaceProtege3 ай бұрын
@@montanadan2524 Thanks so much for that. $50,000 needed in repairs you say?
@montanadan25243 ай бұрын
@@LiberaceProtegeNo I was actually thinking 50k+ all in including the purchase price. The bottom job alone may run ten if you pay a yard (take off everything including the gel coat, repair the osmosis, fairing, two coats epoxy barrior and three coats of bottom paint). The standing rigging doesn't look original but I question the installation (double automatics on the shrouds and the rear stay chain plates missing the bottom thru bolts?) Call in a professional rigger at the very least and hope to get off at $3-5k for replacement if required. May as well freshin up the running rigging for another $1.5k. The boats on the hard and the deep bildge is full (I suspecting it is under the rear stateroom as would be typical for a full keeled boat) so something -the deck, hatches, ports, or fastener are leaking - lots of labor to find and repair as you end up resealing everything. Keep in mind there is a lot of gear under there that may not like being suberged. he navigation electronics are trash but im seeing a lot of folks get by with a tablet ($200 with built in GPS running Navionics subsription at $30 a year) or a smart phone as the boat plotter so you would just need to replace depth, speed thru water, and wind instruments, maybe 1$1-2k if you do it. Want a new radio with AIS drop another 2.5k. The current solar system is insufficient to do anything but possibly maintain the battery. Your gonna be into panels, controller and new AGM batterys a couple thousand. Want lithium, most likely the current controler, alternator, power wiring, fusing, shore power battery charger are incompatible. The little two cylinder Yanmar and gear box are probably fine but I would want to hear it from a cold start and go thru gears but the props long gone or it would be fitted. An on and on...... I'm not saying the boat is not worth what they are asking, I'm just saying it's for me it's long way from taking a trip.
