I'm honestly surprised that your Collection Woody made it through production with a working string, to be quite honest. I have had 3 pull string toys(2 Woodies, and a Jessie)with the modern, spring loaded system and they lost their working strings within the space of a few months(by childhood play, mind you). Only one was really my fault, though. I accidentally broke the string on my Thinkway Woody, Jessie's just kinda broke down over time, and my childhood favorite Hasbro Woody took a nasty fall thanks to my brother playing with him(despite having his OWN Woody)by a high stair railing. Still, my many attempts to fix him taught me the basic mechanisms for the modern pull string system, so that's a plus. Oh, and another one of my brothers once threw him into the toilet by accident. What fun.

Still there’s and mine is better because they have signature and I do and on play mode the signature says somebody’s poisoned in the waterhole on play mode your’s doesn’t come alive. I have Disney store and signature. My Disney store one looks ugly even your’s might

Great video on your old Woody and the new one,I got the Signature Collection one in 2018.My original Woody doll was not the 1995 Thinkway one,it was made by Hasbro for Toy Story 2 and came with a guitar.He was also voiced by Tom Hank's brother Jim Hanks like the collection one.

Fun Fact: Any official Woody toy made isn't voiced by Tom Hanks since of how busy he is. Instead, his brother voices the official Woody toys which is why he sounds a bit different.

I have toy story collection woody when I started 5th grade my teacher said we were gonna have a show and tell and I kept on thinking on what I should bring I thought about ethier bringing my dog man plush or woody I thought about it long and hard but I ended up bringing woody and I showed him to the class they asked about him and I passed him around so they could see him and to this day I still have him he is laying down next to me on the floor

I used to have a playtime woody as a kid and at the time was the second most movie accurate one next to the collection one and the regular woody is third place

Why did they never make a generic Woody doll, with the actual face from the movie the "pretending to not be alive" face. One Japanese company has, and it'll cost you a LOT of money, surely it cant be that hard, it's supposed to be the most realist Woody, but the faces are always totally f*****g wrong.

The reason 1995 woody never had spurs was because when they came out at Disney land apparently because of health and saftey they thought when kids played with him the spurs would hurt him but in regular retail stors like toys r us they had spurs and when toystory 2 came out and they re releases think way woody disney land kept the purs on

0:50-54 No the 95-6 pull string Woodys never had spurs on their boots. I know because my grandfather got me one for Christmas in 96 and he' the Woody I had didn't have those spurs. My dad said it might have been because who made them decided at the time that spurs on pull string Woodys may be too sharp and therfore too dangerous for kids.

I don't think that part about breaking off and getting swallowed would by true because I also at the time had a bendable plastic Woody that had spurs on his boots. But big sharp spurs on a big pull string one might cut kids easily.
