If he did die before/during recording, Pixar would not remove a big character like that from its best franchise, surely there is someone else in the world who can do the Mr. Potato Head voice almost exactly (Brian Hull) and they would use them for the part

It's interesting that in the past, whenever cartoon characters presented at award shows, they would always cover their mouths with the envelope when they announce the winners, presumably because they didn't want to waste money making four different animations for whoever won. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore, because this year, when Woody and Buzz announced Inside Out as the winner, their mouths were fully visible. Does the Academy tell them the winners ahead of time?

You see, Billy Crystal was approached to be Buzz Lightyear, but he turned the role down, and he would go on to consider that his biggest career regret, which is why he jumped at the chance to be Mike Wazowski, and here they both are, Buzz and Crystal, onscreen together for probably the only time.

GYBrush 3Wood no offense if u liked it but toy story 4 was a horrible idea. i was pissed when i heard it was confirmed. 3 was the perfect finale. its last shot was the clouds in the sky & thats the first movies very first shot. it was the perfect way 2 end it. shorts & tv specials were fine but a fourth movie was a horrible & really stupid idea. how can bonnie just forget about woody all of a sudden after toy story that time forgot & pick a damn fork over him? she was all over him in that, toy story of terror & the three shorts. it was so outta character. my brother & i r twins & we just turned 26 on the 22. i got the aliens. now i have all the guys except hamm. woodys my favorite like andy & hes the first one i got on may 18 2014 at toys r us!!! i got him with me right now & i promised him i’ll always love him & take care of him no matter how old i am!!! i didnt care if i was 19 & still dont if im 26!!! slinkys my second favorite cuz hes a dog & he was woodys best friend b4 buzz. i just had a little christmas adventure with them last night. when i play with woody & buzz sometimes i tell them they mightve said goodbye but as long as theyre with me theyll have each other 4 infinity & beyond like it shouldve been. i really hope when this fucking pandemic ends toys r is still opens back up like they were gonna b4 it started. i still love it & still love toys
