LIVE: Arvind Kejriwal News | Delhi CM Kejriwal Moves Supreme Court After HC Blocks His Bail Order

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday moved the Supreme Court against the Delhi High Court's stay on his bail order in the liquor policy case.
The high court had directed an interim stay on the trial court order granting bail to Kejriwal and had adjourned the case till June 25.
"High Court has lost sight of the most objective criteria that is required to judge an application for cancellation of bail and therefore, the impugned order staying the operation of the order granting bail cannot sustain even for a day," the plea stated.

What is the cost of all these court and lawyear fees of Arvind Kejriwa, he keeps on going to one after another, who pays for it, ofcourse the money goes from poor people fund. This should be stopped.

you are right lot of money will be spent that's why getting justice is very costly and most of the people do not get it and rot in jails for periods more than the period had they been convicted and awarded punishment. What is the alternative to an under trial? The rich and influential drag the case to unlimited time though they might be guilty had cases against them were heard expediously.

Even before getting the bail order, Delhi HC stayed it. This is un heard in jurisprudence and the Supreme Court had opined correctly. They must have been pressurised by the autocratic and corrupt present regime.
