@@oaklandghosts0510 😀 Thanks man! I'm glad it went fairly smoothly because I did not feel prepared at all 😅 I'll be recording that second song in a couple days at home as well. Cheers!

Opening the evening with manners! Lovely to see you behind the engines mate! How do you like the Bass Nation 2

Thanks my friend, appreciate the kind words! I like it quite a lot, very big sound and lots of sonic options. It's not perfect and a bit clunky, and not sure if I'll end up keeping it or not but I'm enjoying my time with it!

Congrats! I would love to do a live set as well. But I don’t have a set 😢

@@vagueversatile Thank you!! I bet you can make one pretty easy! This is just a couple tracks I improvised with, nothing special! If there's anywhere near you that you can play that is, otherwise doing a practice live set at home is always a fun exercise!

Very very good! You did a fantastic job all the way through! Kept it interesting, had lows and highs so that it stays engaging! I'm impressed! Your last live thing was good, but this felt super tight! Maybe it's just me. Remember we don't know what's going on under the hood, so you just gotta make it look like everything's on purpose 😂 but you definitely did. If you ever end up in Boston, the Middle East would probably love to have you play. I'd go and ruin the video by going "Woooooo" the whole time and dancing in front of the camera. Oddly sexual dance moves that look extra strange cause I'm a fairly big dude.

That's great to hear man! I felt pretty good about this but wasn't sure how it compared to my last one, because I was a little more disorganized and the music was put together much quicker.. But I mostly pulled it off which is good! And yes that's true about the audience not knowing, but the trick is, neither do I :D I'll just crank a ctrl all on a parameter and be like, okay, thats cool, mute some stuff, sweep a filter, you know. Panicked reminders halfway through the set of "OH I FORGOT THIS ONE THING TO DO" and then slapping at the buttons until I remember where I am is a common event. That would be awesome :D And man, you can woo all you want because the audio is recorded directly into my zoom thing, and dancing will clearly enhance the visual experience :D Thanks again!

@hexwavemusic teenage engineering just released a teaser for the OP-XY with two dudes standing in front of a wall of op-xy's and one dude is dancing. That's EXACTLY what I had in mind when I left this comment. I saw the video after posting. Say what you will about teenage engineering, their teasers are amazing.

@@GeorgeL909 LOL that is great. Yes TE certainly has advertisement and visual appeal down, as well as middling quality music devices, but they are the masters of extreme pricing! Someone pointed out that you can get a Digitone 2 and Digitakt 2 for the price of it and still have money left for groceries which I thought was pretty funny. But hey, OPXY has 8 tracks and 8 whole gigs of storage so you can't put a price on that!

@hexwavemusic the best kept secret in synthesizers, you can get the El-Z1 for ~$350 to 400 and it's very easy to roleplay that it's an op-1 or OP-XY. Plus the Sonicware guys are pretty nice guys. Edit: apparently there's a more expensive more powerful El-Z1 play that just came out but I haven't looked into it too. Might be even more OP-XY like now.
