Oh man, I'm sorry to hear you got sick. I hope you get your senses back soon I'm really looking forward to the Dress Your Loom q&a Petition to make, "No matter what it is, someone knows something" the new "Wherever you go, there you are."

I was pulled away from the live and missed the question. I weave more in the late summer and fall. I like to weave on my rigid heddle loom and it is easier to direct warp my loom on my deck.

So … running late this am and need to listen to the video but I do have a question that may be totally off today’s topic. ? Wondering if anyone has tried this: If I double an 8/2 both warp and weft ( trying to replicate an 8/4) will it “ really” produce the same epi/ppi as just an 8/4. I’ve actually been drawn to videos using 8/4 for houndstooth on a RH but don’t have a RH loom and (experimented successfully) translating the 2-2 color warp/weft using 4 harnesses and 8/4 in a straight twill on my floor loom and I’m so excited how it turned out. But have lots of 8/2 colors I’d like to use up!!! Thanks in advance!!

@@lynda2250 Interesting question! You can simply use 8/2 for your warp & weft and tweak the spacing - no problem! Here's a video to help - kzbin.info/www/bejne/npWwpJtuqsl-pas
