Chur chur 😎 awesome to hear people enjoy watching the Lateral Line 👍 The main reason we are in Aluminium boats is because we wanted something very different to the norm. Sojourn was custom designed and custom built exactly how we wanted it. To do that in fibreglass an entire mould would need to be created which for a one off boat would make it ridiculously expensive. Lots of alloy boats in NZ yes, but there are some amazing fibreglass boat builders to. We were fishing from Tristram boats for a few years which I believe is the best glass boats made in NZ 👍

You guys should try a release weight to help with the barotrauma in snapper. Seems to help a lot here in South Aus where there is a snapper ban

Have seen some info on that, we don’t normally have a problem with them swimming away but that one was foul hooked under it jaw so it kept getting pulled up side down and the fight was longer to as a result, which sadly was ultimately that snappers doom 😕 it went to good use at least 👍

It works pretty well for a lot of reefies that suffer from barotrauma. Definitely good it didn't go to waste tho that's for sure. Hate seeing them go belly up but sometimes there is no choice. Keep up the great work love the channel.

@@TryABaconSlice yeah bruv, I rate briggsy’s one dope but I’ve never been a fan of the whole tension on the line idea when tying. Nato’s sinching down both the mainline and tag end after ever 8 wraps has been my go to instead, found it way easier to tie FG’s on the boat that way.

If I'm re-tying at home I will do it Briggsy style and if I'm on the boat it is Nathans one, although the part of Briggsy's I really like is the rizutto finish and the using a lighter to finish the knots (not sure if the old BAF one had that included).

@@TryABaconSlice absolutely, I love the rizuto finish. I’ve begun using it on heaps of stuff for finishing knots. Improved uni is basically a rizuto finish and I find i never chafe my fluro leader when I use it that way now. I can’t remember if the old BAF video had the rizuto either. Must be time for a new upload refresher 👀 I think we deserve some new vids on the improved clinch aswell Nato 👀
