simply fantastic idea! been looking for perfect solution and now i found it! I think this movie should be most popular! three questions 1-, how close the pick up scoop upper exit to the bilge pump pickup propeller? should they be touching or the water pickup while moving is enough? 2-in case boat is silent, turning on the pump would easily pick up water through pickup scoop? is the pickup scoop drowned in water when boat is still? would pump create enough vaccum through pickup scoop so it can suck water? 3-on-off switch on pickup hose: what type is that? where can I get one? thank you sameh

Hi Richard, can you tell me what you do with the electric pump if you are anchored? Do you have the electric pump on some sort of a timer system to periodically pump fresh water into the tank?
