Next time try putting a little celery salt on the pompano. An ol timer i met surf fishing in new smyrna told me that and I thought he was crazy until I tried myself. He said put whatever spice you like then just sprinkle a little celery salt on top and it takes it to another level

Hey Joey. Writing from Santa Marta, Colombia. Why is it that anglers in the U.S. never use Octopus as bait? It just catches my attention cause that's what we mostly use here.

I have never had anything bit a hook with fish gum OR fish bites on it. Even switched from top to bottom and every fish so far has rejected it.
