Yesterday I went to Daytona beach to hunt for old silver coins and found a piece of lead melted just life that melted metal you found. Melted lead is a good indicator usually for old historic activity in an area. But someone could have thrown a pack of fishing weights in a bon fire as well. Back when we were still a free country we used to party late at night around beach bon fires, lol every week end.
