Practicing major scales and triads 5-10 minutes a day will work produce incredible results. Really no excuse not to do it.

Super dope beat, loved the process and watching how it came together. Very inspiring! Looking forward to following how the channel evolves!

lol i love how you KNOW your shit so well, and when people give really green suggestions, you're like "nah".

alright, im gonna patreon you. You remind me of all the guys i used to chill with at the recording studio by my old place. Just a bunch of dudes disillusioned by the industry and the public, but never wanting to give up their passion. I miss em.

I feel like I know a beat goes hard when I nod my head at a diagonal instead of just up and down 😂

Love your style. I don’t really care about flicker, shadows or nose glare.

This comment goes out to everybody that likes the vid, good on you! The dungeon synth whipped cream gone sterile on stream with Darile. I love the sound of creative freedom.

Hey Jon, I was wondering, why don't you use slices or make a template drums already in slots instead of selecting drums from a folder? Just interested in your workflow decision. Keep up the great work!
@jonmakesbeats Жыл бұрын
Hey SONWU, I like to go through the folders because I want to be able to choose different drum sounds for how I’m feeling in that particular moment as opposed to limiting myself to a set amount. I’m sure your method would save time but yeah
@SONWU Жыл бұрын
@@jonmakesbeats Thanks for the answer! That makes sense. I kind of need that limitation, otherwise I'd be searching for too long I think.

Don't sweat video quality TOO much, there is absolutely nothing wrong with your video quality now. You are well past the point of diminishing returns, so improvements from here will cost you a ton of money for very small gains.
@NathanielPaffettLugassy Жыл бұрын
Definitely nothing wrong with the video, but if you DO want to make it better it will definitely not cost a lot of money at all. Bouncing the light, making sure the fill light isn’t in the side camera. That would avoid the hotspots, harsh shadows, and such. :)
