Very, very nice Berlin school sequence Gary. I love how you are using your setup here. I see you are using your EWI, wind synth, blends very nicely indeed. I use a Yamaha WX-11 with my setup, along with my micro-freak, lemondrop, and my Teenage Engineering POM400 through pedals for sequence work. Thank You for uploading this piece, thoroughly enjoyed, on my liked videos! 😎

Cheer ExK - yes the wx-11 is a nice ewi (generic term here!) ... will def check out some of your vids, do you have any similar to mine?

@@GaryHayes Presently not making videos. In the future I do plan on this. Right now my life is pretty busy, even though I am retired, I am 68. I have been involved with synthesis since the seventies, and during that time I would release my music on cassette, at a university music store here in the states. Yep that was a thing during that time. I have lot's of recorded material on cassette and cd, that hasn't been released as yet. If I can get my act together soon, I will make some videos and perhaps release my recorded material. A great deal of my time when I create electronic music is practicing, and editing patch's I have already made. I first started with electronic music with my dad's reel to reel recorder, using sound on sound technique and an original Korg MS-20, man those were the days my friend. I can't believe I am almost 70, and have been involved with music and electronic music for so many years..where does the time go. You are much appreciated by me Gary, You my friend are TOP'S in my book! 😎 E.K.

@@expandingknowledge8269 Funny you mention cassettes I have just spent a whole week digitizing about 120 90min cassettes with 100s of old tracks from the 80s, I transitioned to releasing an album a year on CD after 1991 - 2017 to have quite a few old tracks on there - but I tend to always focus on new pieces vs going back, perhaps when I am older. Thanks for popping back here regularly and good luck with your next musical steps!

I am currently experimenting with integrating my newly acquired Teenage Engineering POM400 with other instruments, like my Behringer Neutron, and Arturia Micro-Freak, running these instruments through my Walrus Audio PolyChrome flanger pedal, and my Digitech Obscura, and Polara, and Meris Mercury 7. I guess I would consider myself as an experimental synthesist. I do have classical music training in piano, but also play woodwinds and violin. My work space is in need of organization, and when not helping my wife, (Read, Happy wife, Happy life), I will organize my work space to allow better work flow. I do use a looper pedal to capture happy accidents while playing, which I do find very beneficial for accumulating musical idea's on the fly, that can be incorporated into a track. Now where did I put that MIDI cable? E.K. 😎

Ta EK - sounds like a very nice setup, I especially like the flanger pedal, although I have not used one in quite a while! Certainly helps having a ready to go setup, good idea with the looper as an idea capture too!
