George Soros is a known concern. Our government should have abolished STT which was introduced when there was no tax on capital gain. The capital gain tax should have been reduced but they were increased. STCG is not a sin. The greed for more tax revenue is also one of the contributing factors. Let us first deal with what is within our control. Some people thought if we increase the rate then tax revenue will proportionately increase. It doesn't always work that way. On the contrary, lower tax rate would have given higher revenue.
