Israel DOES have a right to defend itself and perhaps should only have sought retribution of HAMAS soldiers only, not bite off more than it can chew by slaughtering and starving innocent Palestinians en masse. How on earth did Mossad not detect Hamas literally digging in throughout the Palestine territory? For that matter, if the US were to stop supplying both Defensive and Offensive weapons to Israel, it just might stymy their onslaught and help them dial back to only a surgical removal of Hamas; which is what should have occurred in the first place. Perhaps such a decision might just help slow the nonsense in the Red Sea as well. Yes they are our ally, we wish no Israeli harm but also cannot participate in outwardly clear Genocide either...no matter their strategic value to the US
