I like how the headphones produce a completely different sound. Laura's voice is in the left, Mike's voice is in the right and Brian's is mono. It makes a nice mix.

The original song and I have a history. A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, I was a young child. My mom had this bootleg John Mayer collection CD gifted to her by my aunt. On that CD was the orignal "Heart of Life" recorded from somewhere I've never been able to find. But she played that CD to death and I heard it all the time. One day, she lost it. Not sure if it's still around or MIA. Naturally, she was upset. These songs couldn't be found on Spotify/iTunes without intensive searching. During 2020, I was working a real dead end job and had the idea of making her a new one. A somewhat offical bootleg. Jewel case, cover art, track list, the works. I emailed my uncle asking if he still had the files from a CD made about 14 years ago. Sadly, the "Heart of Life" that was etched into my brain wasn't there. And I didn't even know the song's name. Until this video. I don't know how an old IFD video brought out this story, but it did.
