Super random question at the end vs Lance he had to heal blastoise is their a way to switch starter heal turn 1 to avoid intimidate? (I know he has 1 pokemon ) but im saying keep the hm slave or whatever

The intimidate does not really matter. It lowers our attack, but we are only using special attack moves. We also set up the x-specials. Taking an HM slave with us, switching to it in a menu to have it first in our party, healing, dying and sending out Blastoise and the doing the setups would be a lot slower. Also you have an extra Pokemon when the Hall of Fame cutscene plays.
