To The Chaotic: Shorting is just going with the market flow during a particular time. Fading open super-high gaps are difficult: The *locates* for these short shares are mostly unavailable.

let's say you short sell 100 shares of a stock at a price of $50 per share. If the price of the stock falls to $40 per share, you can buy the shares back and return them to the original owner. In this case, you would have made a profit of $1,000, because you sold the shares for $5,000 and then bought them back for $4,000.

Nice video, thanks! I'm curious about something in terms of general strategy. To make it easy, let's assume I'm not selling short, I'm just trying to buy at x price and sell at above x. If I buy a random stock, it seems unlikely that I am accidentally buying when it is at the absolute highest price it will be at, so wouldn't a good strategy be to buy at x, wait for x to go up a bit due to daily fluctuations, and then get rid of it when it's a little higher? And then just repeat with another stock. Unless I get it at the max price a stock has, what is the danger or downside from just waiting for it to fluctuate up?

This week was nice. On my phone on the toilet. I made 5k. Literally just knowing my companies and timing. Also I'll just choose something that I'm like a 100% positive that will recover within a specific amount of time if the daily trades don't line up and save liquidity to average yourself out if need be. I never use options. Just timed buys and sales. I hope to average 10k a week by this time next year.

@@claytrader idk I've made 900k over the last 20 years trading from a 20k start only trading 2 days a week. My family has been using that strategy for years. My grandmother has banked over 8 million in profit starting from 60k. In the same time frame for me in a trust via a broker using the same strategy and stocks by just mirroring and adding to my trades in a second account. Trust not just one method works. I won't likely get crushed because only 20 percent of my net worth is ever on the market, and after covid my long plays panned out even better. Toilet paper, health care and water....

I have a few questions 1. in the top right corner of your live trading, why are those numbers of the companies bouncing up and down? And if that is an important chart how do I get it? 2. And when you are buying shares you said you had 100 shares left, when buying dont you gain shares, not lose them? 3. Where are you getting all that money from to buy those shares? Are you depositing money from your bank account into your broker? 4. At 7:50 you said that you made more money, how are you making money when your buying? should you be losing money? Sorry I had so many questions I am really trying to get into this day trading biz, hopefully you were able to answer all my questions
