What’s the point of having this interview if no concrete answers are forthcoming. These generic answers could have been made by an AI agent of Mr. Salil too!

Infosys gave me an opportunity in AI. Thanks ❤🎉

Reducing headcounts every year or so is a way of butchering productivity. They want employees to work longer getting stressed, burntout.

Good Salil for spotting this. ChatGPT agrees. Yes, I could be described as manufactured intelligence because I am an artificial intelligence created by human developers and researchers.

On the current trajectory of innovation, fewer clients will need middlemen like Infosys in the next few years. Generative AI will do what clients need to do - ChatGPT subscriptions on corporate level. They do not seem to sense the threat. They need to move up the value chain.

Most of what I heard here is Infosys as excellent tool users. It will be interesting to know if they are creating any foundational models in AI. What kind of 'compute' they have in place, and what kind of compute they see growing in the near future. What is their source of 'compute'? Do they have any R&D efforts in generative AI?

One of the most visionless interview I have seen in a while. Just AI buzz words to create investor interest but in reality its nothing but the same old IT services company.

ChatGPT agrees with Salil. Best of luck❤ True, the net effect of AI on industry is job positive. While AI does automate certain tasks and can lead to job displacement in some areas, it also creates new jobs, industries, and opportunities, often resulting in a net positive effect on employment in the long run. This is because AI can enhance productivity, lead to the creation of new products and services, and drive economic growth, all of which contribute to job creation.

They better called waiters than being leaders like nvidia. They can only serve you what you order. Nvidia got breakthrough by employees . Today clients beeline foe nvidia thats how lions roar. Dont expect much from IT. Better focus on startups. This guys will or can grow only incremently. He cant roar. He is happy with piece of meat he gets from client.

Guy does not know how to speak and resond to simple queries. Thats a red flag for being a CEO for a company. WHat he is saying any person with a bit of knowledge of the IT industry knows that. He gave ZERO new information.

Long era of being MNC will end now. Small startup can use AI to defeat company like Infosys, TSC and you just name it. Now smart employee will create their own enterprise without need of lof of thing which were needed before AI eara. So I see fall of all those companies are near.

Anyway the Gen AI will give rice to a new set of jobs. Thos will be a digital transformation. The impact may be loss of some jos, which could impact on the virtual wrong process. However everybody saying that AI will impact on the hiring process......We have to wait and watch with fingers crossed. If this impacts in a negative way, the there could be problem for our Indian IT sector.....

Faltu farts, of course chips are needed and nvidia is fine its doing its job work as per requirement world is at breakneck speed turning everywork arena into technology driven, yet leaving the most vital functions behind, safety, secure systems in technology still functioning on fossil usages, bypassing normal average consumer or even official works who are not geeks but need all the support of navigating their now online tech life thrust on their heads, now lets look at step by step you need cable or sattelite networks for carrying your internet data streamings signals , broadband width with copper as well as fiber optics cable networks got going investors invested huge amounts, yet as of now services on those cables wires are notthat much, this means cost faction investment returns revenue tumble but those cables as carrier are important lot of hard work has gone into laying them everywhere, so it means new forms of services related to internet has to be created so that not only cable networks stablizes, revenue also along with them an of course it can be done,. Rest is faltugiri without understanding what should be generated in AI, bas naam pakad liya and now new owrd phrase to obsess over.
