Live Demo: Hyperrealistic Eye Drawing with Colored Pencils (with voice over)

In this video, I'll be working on a hyperrealistic drawing of an eye in real time. My main focus will be on the glasses. I'm using Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils on 250gsm Stonehenge paper.

I had no idea you were making videos again, it's so good to see you filming your drawings again, I've always loved it. I wanna see more of these videos, of drawings, either if it's real time or timelapse, but it's always a joy to watch you draw. About Heather, I found her channel in 2016 or 2017 I don't remember now, and I was amazed with her skills and wanted to draw like her, later in that same year I found your channel and THEN I found out what a true realism really was, I found the real god. Seriously, I love Heather's drawings, but for me you were always better than her, the quality of your realistic drawings was always way ahead of hers, for me you've always been and still are the best, and you'll always be my favorite. Keep up the good work, you are a god 😉 I just have a question, how many time do you usually take to do a realistic drawing from beginning to the end? I don't know if you use to mark the days you draw, I do that to know how many days it takes, the last realistic drawing I did took me 4 months to do, how many time does it take for you?

Thank you for the kind complement! The time it takes to complete a realistic drawing varies widely depending on the subject's complexity and the level of detail involved. I don't typically track the days, but rather the total hours spent. It can range from about 60 to over 300 hours per piece. 😃

@@Neeyellowart wow that's a lot too, I admire how much patience you have doing your drawings, I always see people completing a drawing in a single day, then I start to feel like a failure cause I can't do that, I take ages to do mine, I do it very slowly to do the best I can, but takes ages, if I rush it then it looks like crap, and seeing you doing it just as slow as I do and being ok with it makes me realize that there's nothing wrong in doing it on my own time, cause you do it on yours too, it doesn't make me feel alone. Oh, and I understand your struggles with sharpening the pencils, it really sucks to keep sharpening it all the time, not to mention when the tip breaks on the paper, it's a nightmare XD But hey,don't give up on doing your drawings anymore ,you're extremely talented and it would be a sin to waste such a talent like that, you're a real inspiration to me and I admire you a lot.

Thank you! I am not sure what kind of sharpener I use, and it doesn't have a brand name on it unless it's microscopically written somewhere on it.
