We Meeteis have inseparable cultures associated with wetlands (Loktak Lake, Fish, we love fish, for example). We don't wanna stay in the hills, we never said that any part of the land belongs to Meetei(who are the indigenous other than Naga brothers). Land belongs to the state. Though Nagas are the more vocal and stronger opponent to the demand of ST status by Meiteis, the Meiteis are afraid to antagonise the Nagas, but are very intolerant and violent against Kukis because they can’t afford to fight against united Hill Tribals. So, they are pursuing divide and eradicate policy against Hill tribes with Kukis being the first target. *4. How is Biren Singh responsible for the Meitei youths developing hatred against Kukis in recent past?* *Ans:-* The well charted hatred and demeaning campaign against the Kukis by few fringe elements among Meitei Community have been very intense and ferocious ever since Biren Singh become the Chief Minister. Biren himself is very vocal in spreading the hate campaign against Kukis. Many times, he goes down to the extent of hurling all sorts of childish and lowly anti-Kuki comments on social media by warning Kukis of genocides and openly calling them as refugees, poppy planters, foreigners, etc in most of his speeches as well as in his facebook posts. His facebook page is the hotspot for exchange of all sorts of communally sensitive blame games and hate speeches by teenagers and fake ID handlers. Consequently, many youths from both sides have developed intense hatred and grudges against other community. This is the real cause of few misguided Meitei youths developing hatred against Kukis despite the existence of innumerable references about peaceful co-existence and mutual respect between the two communities since time immemorial. The intolerant and immature nature of the Chief Minister is the root cause of the present turmoil in Manipur. *5. Who is attacking who in Manipur at present?* *Ans:-* Presently, Meitei miscreants are resorting to all kinds of offensive actions while Kukis are resorting to self defence only. The Meitei volunteers/mob carrying automatic rifles freely resort to rampant attacks and burning down of Kuki villages located in the periphery of Imphal valley in outright violation of the prohibitory orders issued by the govt. However, the police commandos instead of arresting the perpetrators (forget about existence of shoot at sight order), are providing protective shield to the attacking miscreants. In places where strong resistance by Kuki defence volunteers are encountered, police commandos would chase away the village volunteers and pave the way for the Meitei miscreants to burn down the villages. So far, more than 50 Kuki villages have been burned down by Meitei miscreants and many people have been killed. *6. How bad is the condition of tribals stranded in Imphal?* *Ans:-* Thousands of tribal people are kept in confinement in few concentration centres (stations/outposts of para-military forces) in Imphal after their houses/quarters have been burnt down and many people killed by Meitei miscreants. These stranded people, including breast fed children, sick and aged people had come to these centres out of desperation and with the hope for immediate evacuation/escort to their native places in the hill districts. However, even after 4 days of enduring extreme hardships and agony, there still is no visible plan for escorting them to safety as all routes leading to the hills have been blocked by hostile valley miscreants armed with sophisticated weapons. The living condition of people in the camps is also deteriorating badly as these stations are not equipped to host such a large crowd. There is no arrangement for sleeping, food/water are running out of stock and many people are becoming sick. The stranded people are desperate to go out to any safe destination including outside Manipur. But, they can't book air tickets because of internet shutdown, air fare skyrocketing and getting sold out so fast. The so called people’s govt led by Biren Singh is turning a blind eye on the sufferings of these stranded tribals. *7. What responsibility do other tribal groups have in present turmoil in Manipur?* *Ans:-* Since the present crisis is the outcome of Meiteis motive to grasp hill tribal lands on the one hand and the common opposition of Meitei ST demand by all hill tribes on the other hand, all hill communities of Manipur and all tribals of entire NE India have the moral responsibility to fight together against the selfish interest of the otherwise advanced and superior Meitei community. Moreover, since the tribal solidarity rally was organised with the active support and involvement of all tribes equally, every tribe in Manipur has the moral responsibility to come out in support of the Kukis who bear the brunt of powerful and govt backed Meitei onslaught. Even if other tribes are not ready to come out to fight in the frontline side by side with their Kuki brothers, they should at least render logistics and humanitarian supports to the Kukis who are fighting and sacrificing for the common tribal cause. Also, every hill tribe should understand that the existence of minor differences among different tribes should not be allowed to come in the way of fighting a common and much bigger threat together. and I'm from Churachandpur and Khumujamba Meitei Leikai is a neighbouring village(leikai/gaon) popular to be the hub of brewing illegal local liquor. and i couldn't agree more of what had been said in the video about burning houses in the leikai... there are always miscreants in both side... but i was informed no meiteis were harmed ... its a shame they have to lost their properties but i believe our side did it out of anguish and only after the meiteis evacuated the leikai... but miss over-informed her keep mentioning "Burning Temples" having no factual proves ..... the only videos going viral are churches burning... lifeless bodies of tribals on road unattended; a truck of meitei civilians armed with AR heading out to hunt the tribals. A one sided story is never appreciated. And the media carrying out covering what's goin on exclusively from one side only is not gonna help with any of the problems both sides of the community are facing. And not only meiteis are stuck in camps.. hundreds to thousands of tribals are stuck in camps as well.. both in ccpur and in the imphal valley. both sides of the community who are in real life, in the middle of the warzone claims the shooting comes from each opposite sides... the question here is.. who is shooting..? [matter of fact majority if not all of the arms or guns owned by tribals are confiscated by the state government way before this communal feud broke out] i doubt tribals have any guns to fire except for the undergrounds who were present there. And only tribal deaths are available to be reported with pictures of their corpses; who unfortunately lost their lives during the shooting [by comandos; also believed to be meitei militants dressed as comandos] on civilians who stopped the meiteis to leave Ccpur until the government makes sure tribals in the imphal valley are safe. And fake informations circling social media(Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp etc²) where meiteis took a video -from the Philippines- where a clothing store gets robbed; which they say kukis did to a meitei shop.. and using the picture of the tragic murder of Ayushi Yadav and an old picture of an Arunachali girl who was physically abused by her then boyfriend to spread fake news around the internet blaming the culprits are the kuki.. these girls aren't even manipuri bruv.. and seeing a clip from a meitei drama or mv -where the lifeless body meitei girl is dragged out of the water- every single time theres a fude between the meitei and tribal community is beyond funny.... collecting relatable fake videos and photos and making up a story behind these digital footprint just to blame the tribal is too low of a level to stand. ALL IN ALL, THIS VIDEO IS BIASED. cover both sides of the story.. [edit: i also appreciate the meitei family who shelter my friend and her family in Imphal - may God bless their heart and soul - just like the tribal women preventing the tribal mob to attack the meiteis in ccpur; everyone is not a mob.. both sides have their shares of good hearts.]

Truth and Only Truth, Who is te Real Victim? 1. National Media and people, believes that Meitiei are the dominant group and Kukis are in minority. But, this estimate is based on census conducted in 2011. In this past 11 years, many ILLEGAL Kukis have entered Manipur from Myanmar on DAILY basis, and the fact that they have encroached and started settling in many parts of Manipur apart from Churachandpur, raises a question whether Meetei are indeed Majority or in Minority 2?is this the reason why Kukis are against NRC? 2. Regarding State Machinery, and police forces. People in lower ranks are mostly Meities but in Higher Ranks, are all occupied by Kukis. The Present DGP Donghal is a Kuki, the next 4 eligible DGPs are also Kukis. This is the case in maximum Depts of Manipur. So who is in the Real Power Centre ? Meeteis or Kukis ? 3. National media says situation under control, army carried out flag Marches and others. All these are reported from IMPHAL only where People believe Meities are Dominant. You only report about meiteis destroying, burning Kukis properties. But why is National Media not covering from the Churachandpur Side, Leimakhong side, Saikot, Moreh where Kukis are truly in Majority, and have destroyes Meiteis houses, properties, Hindu Temples, our Local Deities Temple which have been there from generations, and Kukis Militants openly firing at people as well as Indian Army and state police when they tried to enter Churachandpur to help evacuate trapped Meiteis. Even yesterday night also, there was huge firing between kuki militants and Indian Army. Why none of the News is reporting about the Kuki militants killing many Meities ? 4. People believe, there is a Communal clashes and properties are destroyed, burnt, killed. But none of the Media or Mainland people know, that the clash is between Meeteis with sticks, slingshot, traditional things on ONESide and Kukis with modern Weapons, such as Ak 47, Guns and the Militants combined. Who provided such modern weapons to kukis ? Why is National media not questioning this ? 5. The Tribal Solidatary March carried out by Kukis in maximum, was told to be Peacedul Protests. But, what kind of peace protests is this, where kuki militants in their militants uniform also take part carrying their AK 47 guns and other sophisticated Guns. Even in the crowd, many of them carried GUNS. Is this Peaceful Protest or a Pre planned conspiracy ? 6. Why did the Intelligence Bureau of Manipur and Home Dept. Agencies failed to see such Militants and other vested interest taking part in the So called Tribal Solidatary March, especially when, few days back, the Stage where the Chief Minister was to give a speech in Churachandpur was burnt down.??? Is it a DELIBERATE failure, cos the higher officials in these Depts are all headed by Kukis and wanted this to happen? 7. When the Crowd and Mob turned violent in Tribal Protest March and started destroying properties of Meiteis killing and torching houses, why didnt the Police act and try to control the crowd ? They could have atleast fired in the AIR to dispel the crowd. Why didnt it happen? Had the situation was brought to control that time, things would not have turned out like this. Why ? Is it bcos, the higher ranked Kuki officials did not DELIBERATELY give the Necessay Order and instruction to the police to dispel the crowd.

This news is still one sided. It needs an interview from both sides~ the tribals as well. Btw, Its funny how Meitei used their propaganda about illegal influx from Mayanmar to substantially divert the listener concerning the authenticity and our indigenous nature. My dear, Kuki has been in India for far more centuries than u ever knew. The British accounts and the history of India are all evidence and proofs during and before the independence war too. Yeah there's kuki in Mayanmar too but it's a different story and don't spread lies & rumours about what u truly don't understand. 99.9 % of Kuki are true indigenous inhabitants of Manipur. Plus, another propaganda emerges again about the poppy plantation, which actually sounds ridiculous btw, becuz it's only a handful of counted numbers being accused and we do hate drugs on our land as well , more like not even a little 1 percent are engaged but generalizing the whole people isn't right. It's such an untrue statement. Besides, Kuki are tribals since time immemorial and settled in the hills even before the first king of Imphal Valley King Pakhangba. It's all over the records ( British accounts and Indian history are evidence and proof) , so don't ya dare utter more nonsense. You lack a history understanding. Furthermore, about the current situation in Manipur it requires an insight interview from tribals as well. It's obvious both sides of the community are affected. However, it's pretty clear that the Damages, Arson and Crimes done by the meitei are such inhumane acts which are totally irreparable. For instance ~ 30 plus villages have been burnt, 35+ Churches have been torched down as well, Hundreds of Death reports of Kuki killed by Meitei hooligans , not even a child nor Manipur govt servants like officers of kuki aren't saved as well and thousands of injuries. Not even mentioning, the brutality in their killings and 30+ rape victims done by meitei in Valley and in the hills while raiding, attacking and burning our houses. What have we done to u in return ? It's like a spec of dust in comparison to our sufferings. We don't even wanna mention the trouble u guys started in the first place by burning the Centenary gate and protesting against us by burning vehicles on the other side during our peace rally. Also, how are hundreds and hundreds of Meitei goons carrying AR & pistols around and roaming freely to hunt Kuki in Valley and coming to the hills causing a havoc we've never seen. About the refugees, did u know there's 6000+ tribals stranded in Imphal valley in the army camps but no foods and shelter are adequate. They had no choice but to sleep in the open ground in the chill cold wind without even blankets, not enough food even for the kids and the pregnant ones, without mentioning much for the adults. Also, thousands and ten thousands are homeless thanks to your meitei goons burning villages and houses in all over the places. In addition, The majority of 80% incidents and crimes done by the meitei aren't reported by the Mainstream media as well. Anyway, my main point is even if u (majority meitei) think you've suffered a lot of pain , think about the tremendous suffering and havoc faced by the Kuki currently too. *1. What is the immediate cause of Kuki-Meitei clash?* *Ans:-* The ongoing violence has nothing to do with religion though Meiteis mischievously projected it so to mislead people. The immediate cause was the attempt to sabotage the tribal solidarity rally in all hill districts by few Meitei organisations who resorted to burning down of some houses belonging to Kukis by Meitei miscreants in the border areas between Churachandpur and Bishnupur districts. *2. How does the tribal solitary rally turn out into Kuki-Meitei clash?* *Ans:-* The Peaceful Rally by all tribals was targeted against the govt and not against any community. However, some Meitei organisations who are loyal to and patronised by Chief Minister Biren Singh undertook counter rally and imposed blockade against Churachandpur district and they instigated the general public to fight against Kukis/People of Churachandpur. While the tribal solidarity rally was going on peacefully in all the hill districts, Meitei miscreants started attacking houses/properties belonging to Kukis in the border town located at between Churachandpur-Bishnupur boundary. The Kukis responded in self defence and thus within no time the whole Manipur started burning. *3. Why do Meiteis attack Kukis and spare Nagas?* *Ans:-* The Nagas and The Kukis are scheduled tribes who settle in the hill area whereas the Meiteis are general category with highly advanced social status and occupying the most productive and prosperous valley area of the state. Some group among Meiteis are demanding ST status with the motive to grasp lands in Hill areas and siphon off all available job opportunity and funds in the state. Though Nagas are the more vocal and stronger opponent to the demand of ST status by Meiteis, the Meiteis are afraid to antagonise the Nagas, but are very intolerant and violent against Kukis because they can’t afford to fight against united Hill Tribals. So, they are pursuing divide and eradicate policy against Hill tribes with Kukis being the first target. *4. How is Biren Singh responsible for the Meitei youths developing hatred against Kukis in recent past?* *Ans:-* The well charted hatred and demeaning campaign against the Kukis by few fringe elements among Meitei Community have been very intense and ferocious ever since Biren Singh become the Chief Minister. Biren himself is very vocal in spreading the hate campaign against Kukis. Many times, he goes down to the extent of hurling all sorts of childish and lowly anti-Kuki comments on social media by warning Kukis of genocides and openly calling them as refugees, poppy planters, foreigners, etc in most of his speeches as well as in his facebook posts. His facebook page is the hotspot for exchange of all sorts of communally sensitive blame games and hate speeches by teenagers and fake ID handlers. Consequently, many youths from both sides have developed intense hatred and grudges against other community. This is the real cause of few misguided Meitei youths developing hatred against Kukis despite the existence of innumerable references about peaceful co-existence and mutual respect between the two communities since time immemorial. The intolerant and immature nature of the Chief Minister is the root cause of the present turmoil in Manipur. *5. Who is attacking who in Manipur at present?* *Ans:-* Presently, Meitei miscreants are resorting to all kinds of offensive actions while Kukis are resorting to self defence only. The Meitei volunteers/mob carrying automatic rifles freely resort to rampant attacks and burning down of Kuki villages located in the periphery of Imphal valley in outright violation of the prohibitory orders issued by the govt. However, the police commandos instead of arresting the perpetrators (forget about existence of shoot at sight order), are providing protective shield to the attacking miscreants. In places where strong resistance by Kuki defence volunteers are encountered, police commandos would chase away the village volunteers and pave the way for the Meitei miscreants to burn down the villages. So far, more than 50 Kuki villages have been burned down by Meitei miscreants and many people have been killed. *6. How bad is the condition of tribals stranded in Imphal?* *Ans:-* Thousands of tribal people are kept in confinement in few concentration centres (stations/outposts of para-military forces) in Imphal after their houses/quarters have been burnt down and many people killed by Meitei miscreants. These stranded people, including breast fed children, sick and aged people had come to these centres out of desperation and with the hope for immediate evacuation/escort to their native places in the hill districts. However, even after 4 days of enduring extreme hardships and agony, there still is no visible plan for escorting them to safety as all routes leading to the hills have been blocked by hostile valley miscreants armed with sophisticated weapons. The living condition of people in the camps is also deteriorating badly as these stations are not equipped to host such a large crowd. There is no arrangement for sleeping, food/water are running out of stock and many people are becoming sick. The stranded people are desperate to go out to any safe destination including outside Manipur. But, they can't book air tickets because of internet shutdown, air fare skyrocketing and getting sold out so fast. The so called people’s govt led by Biren Singh is turning a blind eye on the sufferings of these stranded tribals. *7. What responsibility do other tribal groups have in present turmoil in Manipur?* *Ans:-* Since the present crisis is the outcome of Meiteis motive to grasp hill tribal lands on the one hand and the common opposition of Meitei ST demand by all hill tribes on the other hand, all hill communities of Manipur and all tribals of entire NE India have the moral responsibility to fight together against the selfish interest of the otherwise advanced and superior Meitei community. Moreover, since the tribal solidarity rally was organised with the active support and involvement of all tribes equally, every tribe in Manipur has the moral responsibility to come out in support of the Kukis who bear the brunt of powerful and govt backed Meitei onslaught. Even if other tribes are not ready to come out to fight in the frontline side by side with their Kuki brothers, they should at least render logistics and humanitarian supports to the Kukis who are fighting and sacrificing for the common tribal cause. Also, every hill tribe should understand that the existence of minor differences among different tribes should not be allowed to come in the way of fighting a common and much bigger threat together. Long Live the Tribal Unity.

How is this a state Sponsored Communal Dispute? What was the P. Doungal who is the DGP of the Manipur and who is a KUKI doing? Was he the one who intentionally allowed this communal riot to happened? What was the intelligence input to him. So just don't jump to the conclusion. It is the DGPs who is the head of the Manipur Police to protect the innocent Kukis and Meitei.
