Next time, give me a call, and I'll lend you my track saw. I did it your way for years with my basic circular saw/straight edge, but once you try a track saw, you will never go back! Can I ask you what finish you used? Once again, you made my day, thank you.

Yea I wish I had a track saw... One day maybe. I used Osmo finish, the exact finish is in the description below the video. I would have rather gone with a Rubio monocoat but I was out of it and its awfully expensive but it does very well over resin.

Great looking table, I think the resin turned out perfectly. Question. What music do you pump in to your work shop when doing the all the sanding (for the resin dance)? It must be good for you to do all that sanding with a hand held sander.

How do you compare your makita tools with DeWalt? Someone said DeWalts are good for brute force and makita are more refined and precise? Do you think that's a good analogy? I'm trying to decide what brand to buy into.

Definelty go with Makita in my opinion. The only Dewalt tools I have are my Planer and My Table saw. Both I purchased because they were much cheaper than Makita. If money weren't an issue for me I always purchase Makita over Dewalt

It will just have different parts, I don’t like that the router is not attached and I don’t like the friction of the wood sled against the side pieces. It will most likely be built out of aluminum or metal pieces

No, not at all, probably the wood itself would break in half before the resin. I stood and sat on the table with no issues. as long as you made sure to clean off all the bark along the edges

Depends on how much I paid for the lumber, the amount of resin used and the table legs. I don’t usually sell the larger items I make, so I never thought of it but this one would probably go for around $400

No, Resin won't break off lumber if you make sure its cleaned properly before the pour, aka, make sure you lean off all particles of the bark.
