Eminem is set to make a rare public appearance on Tuesday evening (Oct. 22) at a Detroit rally supporting Democratic party candidate Kamala Harris.
According to CNN and the Wall Street Journal, Slim Shady is slated to introduce former president Barack Obama at the event supporting the VP and her running mate, Tim Walz.
Eminem will join the Democratic campaign trail to introduce Barack Obama at a Kamala Harris rally in Detroit tonight, CNN reports. Eminem, a vocal critic of Vice President Harris’ opponent in the presidential race, is expected to speak, rather than perform, at the rally, according to CNN sources.
Eminem has been pretty vocal about politics throughout much of his career. In 2004, he released “Mosh,” an Encore standout that saw him blasting then-Republican presidential nominee George W. Bush. For the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards, the veteran emcee had sharp words for Trump in his contribution to the popular cypher segment.
