Yes, but I think that these "things" in Ecclesiastes 10:19 are referring to the material things here on earth; because, obviously, you need money to live in this society and money to buy things in order to help you do that. Otherwise, you remain poor. But, even if you were rich, you STILL need the Lord. Most rich folk find it difficult to trust completely in the Lord whom they cannot see, because they feel that they already have everything that they need. That's why the Bible says in Matthew 19:23,24 that it's easier for a camel to enter the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into heaven.

It grieves my spirit to even know and hear of such asinine people delivering nothing but false teachings, hypocrisy of doctrine, and playing on the weak minded and string hearted individuals. I remember having pastors and preachers urging us as the saints, to never take their word for what was being taught or established, but to study for ourselves, so that way we wouldn't become so easily beguiled. Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”.
